List of Sepideh Zarani's Reviews
The most thorough eye exam I've ever had in 55years. Dr. Zarani discovered something call narrowing of the angles and reccomended that I see a specialist immediately. I spoke so highly of Dr Zarani, my Mother made an appointment with her as well.
The doctor did not use any gloves and she put the contact lens on her bare index finger to place it into my son's eye, and then when she could not manage to do that, with the same hand, she touched the head rest and cushion multiple times, and without any washing of hands or anything tried again to place the contact lens in his eye. At this point, I stood up to say something but she got the message and said it's best to have him come for a training session first, which should have been done like that anyway. The store in Columbia was extremely crowded; there was no social distancing. The person who tried to sell the contacts to us was extremely rude and had the wrong insurance info and tried to get us to pay 400-500 dollars for daily contacts when I knew from my other son that we don't pay anything for contacts; when I shared this with her, she dismissed me. Even my son whispered to my ear why she is being so very rude. We finally left without ordering glasses or contacts.
Came in because of pain behind an eye, left with an unsolicited glasses prescription and fee not covered by insurance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
