Dr. Njei comes to Bayhealth in Delaware to see patients. He is truly concerned about your problems. When I went in for my procedure he held my hand until the sedative kicked in. I definitely recommend Dr. Njei!

Dr. Basile "J" Njei is outstanding as a doctor who listens and cares. As a GI specialist who is solving endoscopic and stomach disorders that have challenged me for 20 years - and no other doctor has addressed. In 2016, docs tested me for kidney probs, parathyroid -unnecessary scans. Certain foods prompted severe lower stomach pains, fainting spells. In 2017, "globus" & sharp pains near my breastbone. For 1 month, I could Not eat Solid food! Dr. J listened, cared, add humor and instruction in our first encounter. He performed an endocoscopy and colonscopy (my Mother died of colon cancer, so I was scared- he was by my side). It was painless. He has me keeping a Food Journal - foods interact, genetic history impacts. I am improving, have lost 15 lbs, a good thing. He is striving to understand and help me cope with my challenge.
