I liked his personality and communication the first time I met with him in 2016. However, subsequent visits found him not having read my chart, not remembering basic things like major surgeries I had (again, in my chart and already discussed), the appointments felt rushed. One of the staff who answered the phone for a while was horribly rude for no reason. Then there was an improvement in staff and I switched to Miss Kressey because she seemed to be more aware of what was going on with me than Dr. Papoi. My husband experienced a similar disappointment with him where he wasn't reading his chart, didn't know basic things about him, seemed to be seeing this for the first time that were in the chart the year before and already discussed in person. Overall I would say this is NOT "patient centered" care as advertised. It's too bad because he really is a nice guy.

I have been going to this practice since it began (decades)! Dr Papoi is absolutely the best PCP = TOPS! I have several notable medical issues and he always listens, gives me honest diagnosis, and has always provided me with a lot of information and answered all my questions (often a lot). He sincerely cares about all his patients!!! ..and he is extremely knowledgeable. (Not to mention his free clinic!!) Dr Zaft and all others in the practice are also ALL excellent.
