I’ve noticed a great change in my son since Danielle has been his therapist. Danielle is very attentive and patient, she certainly goes above and beyond. The best therapist!!!

Danielle is easy to talk with and gives helpful feedback and professional guidance. I feel comfortable telling her the details of the relationship between my husband and me and our kids. She is comforting, reassuring, and helps me work through my feelings and sort through my thoughts. Where my emotions and thoughts are blurred as to whether my husband’s behavior is healthy or unhealthy, abusive or normal overbearing stuff, she helps clear that up and weight the effects of these things on my children. It is hard to open up and share details, but I feel much better after telling her the details of the week. It is good to have a non bias person to talk with.

My 10-year-old son has been attending therapy through Backpack Healthcare, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the care and support we've received. His therapist, Ajai Washington, has been nothing short of incredible. She’s compassionate, patient, and truly gifted at connecting with children on a deep emotional level. Today’s session was especially meaningful—it was serious and powerful, and Ajai handled it with such professionalism, grace, and empathy. I’ve seen real growth in my son, not just in how he copes, but in how he expresses himself and feels heard. Backpack Healthcare has been a blessing for our family, and Ajai Washington is a treasure. I would recommend her to any parent looking for someone who genuinely understands and supports their child’s mental health journey.

My provider was great, but their billing department is very unprofessional and negligent. They do not value consent and due diligence, as they neglected to inform me about my insurance claims getting denied for FOUR MONTHS and billed me at FIVE MONTHS close to $1k. They are refusing to check my insurance coverage and is pressuring me to pay $1k out of pocket, "so kind to offer a payment plan." This is almost seeming very fraudulent to get the maximum amount of money possible when they know they won't get 100% reimbursement from insurance companies. If they did not bill for the past 5 months, with what funds was my provider getting paid with? Makes no sense at all.
