Lorien Elkridge's Online Review Report Card

I was in Loorian for 3 weeks. Thefirst full day I arrived fir knee surgery rehabilitation, I was not offered pain meds for 6 hours. My surgeon had ordered a ice machine and was told that I did not have authorization for it. With knee surgery the first things are rehabilitation, ice for swelling and pain meds.They did not have enough shower chairs. I used a portable toilet. My bed was not Changed every 3 days, if I ask. I missed a week of therapy. My surgeon call and get me in therpy. I have high blood pressure it went up to 212/180. They changed meds on me 3 times in 3 days.I cannot straighten my leg/knee correctly because I lost a week of therpy. I have a lawyer looking into the situation. They will not send .e copies of my care while in there.

Absolutely awful. They seem to be incredibly understaffed. My in law has been waiting over an hour to go to the bathroom. She can't out of bed and now one has come to help even after multiple requests. Family can't show up to visit, an appointment has to be made. We called for an appointment but no one has returned the call. Even though the governor has lifted covid protocols, we still can't get in to see her.

Incredible that our experience is polar opposite to those in majority here. Zero responsiveness to requests for meds, water, and any assistance requiring the need for other family members to attend in shifts. Intake was attempted the day before family member checked out after an almost two week stay. When this was mentioned to manager during intake she rushed out in a huff. Poorly managed, incompetent and lacking any commitment toward care of patients. Pass.

It’s a total five star experience for my mother and I. The facility is beautiful the staff from the front desk all the way up to the administration are absolutely phenomenal.

Lorien Elkridge is truly a five star facility and team. The staff at Lorien are caring, professional, and always striving to exceed the expectations of their patients, residents, and family members. The patients and residents receive the best care possible and the company is always looking for ways to improve the industry as a whole. You simply cannot make a better choice than Lorien when needing care for yourself or a loved one.

I would recommend this place . The,staff was great. I would not say the food was poor. The waffles were sent down twice raw. However everybody was professional. Vera, the head nurse was swell. If i had to go again to rehab,i certainly would go there.

This facility is absolutely the best. I had my Aunt transferred here to Lorian for better care. My first experience was talking to Nick without him I don’t know what I would had done. When my Aunt arrived at Lorien she was all SMILES. Seeing my 89 year old Aunt this happy brings me joy. The facility is very neat and clean, the staff is phenomenal, and they are giving her a good workout in physical therapy. I’m not sure what Nick’s position is but he has been great he literally is hands on with EVERY Patient. I’mvery blessed and thankful to have my Aunt here. LORIEN ELKRIDGE THE BEST.

Love love love working here. I’ve been a part of the team going on 4 years now, and I just admire the beehive we have going on here. We are a team focusing on the best quality of care for each individual. We are a family oriented nursing and rehabilitation facility that not only cares about our residents, but their family members as well! Truly a great and warm place to be.
