List of David Grace's Reviews
Friendly office. I saw Dr. Grace for a second opinion. He was curt, somewhat rushed and lacked compassion. Failed to carefully read and understand my chart or listen to what I was saying. Had 3 canned possible answers to my questions (irrespective of the input provided) and failed to answer the most basic question of "What would you do if it were you in this situation"- peddling teh 3 solutions again. Not up to date with medical literature or practice, confessing no experience or knowledge of RF ablation for Morton's neuroma- a safe and more effective procedure for sclerosing neuromas. Continued to advertise 4% alcohol injections, which are generally now considered slow and ineffective at taking care of this problem. Sort of stormed out of the office at the end in an unprofessional manner. I find no reason for which anybody would want to see him.
The Foot Whisperer - I went to Dr. Grace just yesterday for the first time after months of foot pain. The staff was super friendly and helpful it felt like family. I had to been to another podiatrist in Virginia a couple of time although not with the pain I currently have but the level of professionalism was still quite different and much better at Dr. Grace's office. Dr. Grace prescribed me four things to resolve my foot pain, new shoes, a brace to wear when relaxing and sleeping, medication and stretching exercises. I got the shoes and wore the brace for about 2 hours last night then decided I could not sleep well with the brace on so I took it off. I forgot to position the strap I needed to stretch before I got of bed and the medication has not arrived yet. So I decided I would get up and grab a strap to stretch with. Normally I would have a huge pain when putting my feet on the floor however 80% less painful this morning after only new shoes and 2 hours in the brace. Thankyou Dr. Grace and your staff you are truly a Foot Whisperer in my book.
Awesome Very Knowledgeable Passionate and Empathetic. The staff was super friendly and helpful
Terrible! Dr.Grace was rude and basically yelled at me for asking practical and reasonable questions. He stormed out of the exam room, yelling I was untreatable. When I finally got my socks and shoes back on and walked out, everyone was staring at me. It was humiliating. I’m taking this up with C suite. Very unprofessional.
He is amazing! I was so well cared for and he fit me in very last minute. I am Shocked they could accommodate me, but they did it happily even though I know it put them out and they had to stay late to take me. Very professional and friendly. I wouldn’t go to any other podiatrist. Top notch care.
Dr.Grace is unprofessional, condescending, rude, and not willing to answer practical questions a patient may have. He yelled at me in front of the entire small office. When I finally got my shoes and socks on and started to leave EVERYONE was staring at me. It was humiliating. I think he wanted to sell me insoles and future appointments for steroid shots and not actually help me. I'm formally filing a complaint against him and strongly recommend people not go to this practices
Ahhhmazing!! I have lived with this deformity since childhood and very reluctant to change things. It got so bad that I was no longer able to wear shoes. Dr. Grace was the consummate professional: he explained how he would alter the bones for correct alignment, how the correction would be a permanent as possible, every aspect of surgery and what to expect during recovery. Any concerns were addressed by his patient and kind staff (Arlene). I cannot recommend his service enough.
I have been seeing Dr Grace for over 15 years. He has always been easy to talk with. He explains everything so well and puts me at ease with his kind and professional explanation of procedures. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking foot and or ankle care.
Doesn't over treat ! Does a fabulous job.
Dr. Grace performed surgery on my left foot. He was upbeat and friendly all the way through the surgery. Afterward, I admit, we were slow to start paying the bill. I guess w/the surgery, recovery, and expectation that my husband had taken care of it, I hadn't paid attention. But we have NEVER stiffed a doctor, or anyone else for that matter. A simple reminder would have been sufficient. Dr. Grace cornered me in an exam room, and was very aggressive. I actually felt that he was not going to let me leave, because I tried to tell him that I wanted to discuss a payment plan w/my husband before committing. He wouldn't accept that until I wrote a check right there. My husband and I were on a tight budget, and always discussed these things before committing. We aren't rich, but we have an excellent credit rating, and any dr. I've ever been to would vouch for us. His behavior was the most outrageous and unprofessional I've ever seen in a dr. (and I worked for one of the best for ten years) Three months after my surgery, I went on a trip of a lifetime to Germany for 6 weeks. The pain in my left ankle and leg was excruciating, and cast a shadow on the whole trip. I believe it was because he kept me in the surgical boot for so long, and my muscles had weakened. When I returned, I went to see him about the pain. Before he came to the room, he loudly (so the entire office and waiting room could hear) asked, "What is SHE doing here?" By the way, his bill was already paid in full. Very insulting. When I explained my pain, his response was, "Why didn't you go to physical therapy?" Hmmm. Maybe because the dr. never mentioned it? I still have pain in my left foot and leg, and have calluses on 2 places on my left foot that I never had before. So, I'm worse than I was before I went to him. I have drs. that I've been seeing for more than 25 years and have great relationships w/all of them. Dr. Grace has a great office staff, efficient and personable. Dr. Grace is an immature, unprofessional man who has an inflated view of himself and his surgical skill.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
