List of David R Yu's Reviews
Dr Yu is knowledgable and great at explaining everything. Highly recommend him!
I was given an old urine test result. When I asked if he would take care of me if something happened with me heart wise, he did not respond.
AT age 75, I have experienced care from many types of medical specialist. However, I have never been so fortunate as to have a Doctor who is so abundantly knowledgeable of his specialty and who maintains such a deep interest and understanding of the latest advancements in medicine that will have an impact on his patients. Dr. Yu is also a compassionate physician who takes into consideration each patient's position in life especially when treatment is required. He is patient when explaining medical conditions, testing, and the application of drugs in treating specific problems. I could not recommend a better Cardiologist or a finer individual.
I have been seeing Dr.Yu since 2014 for high cholesterol and he's just fantastic. I am retired and he went to extra lengths to get a prescription for me that I could not afford due to Medicare and my secondary. He was not the only person in the office to help me with that and I would have to say the whole office is great. His knowledge is boundless. I thought high LDL was just in my DNA and was not that important. He has made me realize that it is very serious and it made me want to know more. Now I am fully aware of the potential risks. He is a kind sympathetic listener and gives great advice! Do I need to say more? I could but I think you get the idea.
I have been a patient of Dr. Yu for years. I initially went to see him due to blood pressure problems prior to a surgery. He regulated my blood pressure so the procedure could be performed, and since has also made sure about any possible drug interactions with other meds I have to take. He's always been very thorough and attentive to my needs regarding my health, and cares about my well being.
Dr. Yu is not only educated by and at the top people and places on the planet, he also brings that expertise to bear for his patients in every encounter. His academic and clinical expertise combines with a caring for his patients in a synergy critical to the rehabilitation and maintenance of the mind and body. It is an honor to have a place in his practice. I am confident my life was saved and will be infinitely enhanced in his care.
I went for an initial interview with Dr. David Yu, I found him to be very professional, knowledgeable and straight forward which I really appreciate he listened to me and didn't treat me as though my thoughts and opinions didn't matter. I definitely would and will be recommending Dr. David Yu to any friends, family and associates that are in need of a cardiologist.
Dr. Yu is a very caring Dr. cares very much about my heart health encourages me to take better care of myself change diet for better heart health I lost 12lbs.
Very attentive and easy to talk to.
I met with Dr. Yu; he reviewed my history, talked with me, and gave me a paper for a stress test and echo. I had no problem scheduling the tests, but I developed a large knot and severe bruising on my arm from the IV. There is NO privacy in the room where the stress test, imaging, and IV insertion is done. I liked Dr. Yu, but didn't care for the treatment I received when I called the ofc. about my arm.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
