I’m one of those people who has been terrified of going to the dentist. Dr. Yun and his whole staff were so compassionate and understanding. More importantly, took away those fears with their expertise and gentle approach. I am relieved to have found a dentist that I can feel confident and comfortable with. A great team of people and excellent service all around! Thank you to Angie for your smile and putting me at ease when I walked in the door;Katie for a gentle, pain free cleaning and understanding nature;Katlyn for holding my hand and excellence in every way.

Khushali was my hygienist and she performed the most gentle yet thorough cleaning of my teeth and gums. Past experiences with other dental hygienist at other local dentist offices have been rough and painful. Especially when performing gum health probes that have been sooo painful. Khushali was extremely thorough and informative about the health of my teeth and gums. I left there with a clean healthy and pain free smile on my face.

I had my first visit this morning at Frederick Dental Suite and it was the best experience I've ever had at a dental appointment! From start to finish, I felt very cared about! Angie greeted me like a friend I've known forever; she is so sweet and helpful in every way! My hygienist, Jessica, is amazing and kind; she was careful and thorough and thoughtful. And Dr. Yun is wonderful, so personable and professional at the same time. He and Jessica explained everything I needed to know, and Jessica and Angie got me all set up for next steps. I'm so appreciative and so glad I found this fantastic practice!

First time going back to Frederick Dental Suite since Dr Sherman and Mary have retired. I will say that the customer care has not skipped a beat. Angie is a follow up queen at the front desk and she genuinely loves her job. Jessica is a fantastic addition to the team. She was personable, knowledgeable and just a bubbly personality. Dr Yun is the definition of a professional. Came into my room and greeted me with a smile and a firm handshake and went over my plan. Super thrilled with how my visit went and excited for my next appointments.

When I needed some dental work urgently done, Dr Yun took very good care of me. Dr Yun and his office staff were amazing from the moment I walked through the office door. And if you get anxious going to a dentist, then Dr Yun’s gentleness and quiet humming will certainly help put you at ease. I will highly and gladly recommend him to my friends!!

Dr Yun is literally the best dentist you will meet in your life! He is genuine and really cares about his patients. His bedside manner took away all my dental anxieties. He took the time to explain when I had questions, and didn’t make me feel silly for not knowing certain things. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Yun! He has my full trust from now on!

My experience with Sherman Smiles was unfortunately marred by the unprofessional behavior of the front desk receptionist. When I called to schedule an appointment, she was rude and condescending, showing little interest in addressing my questions or concerns. Instead, she focused solely on whether I had insurance, refusing to provide clear answers to even the simplest inquiries. This lack of courtesy and willingness to assist left me feeling undervalued as a potential patient. Based on this interaction, I would hesitate to recommend Sherman Smiles to others. A positive patient experience begins with respectful and helpful communication, which was sorely lacking in this case.
