.The nurse practitioners and medical assistants are awesome, professional and thorough. The front desk is horrible. My orders had to be faxed twice and were only entered into my chart because I begged the person on the phone to personally scan them into my chart. My pre-op appt was 12/2/23 for a scheduled procedure on 12/15. I had my pre-op appt with my doctor today to review the results of the 12/2 visit. They had not received the results. The office manager had to call twice and insist they immediately fax the results as I was in the office to review the results of the 12/2 visit. I am scheduled for a GYN surgical procedure this Friday 12/15 and my pregnancy test from 12/2 had not been reviewed or signed off. I found out in my doctors office 9 days after my appointment that my pregnancy test from 12/2, 9 days after my lab work that my pregnancy test is positive. "Brian" from the Urbana Urgent Care office called my doctors office went off on the office manager saying she was rude to his staff. I have left a message for him to please call me to discuss what happened and no return call. Need I say more.... OH, one more thing, I am 60 yrs old ! Lots of follow up needed and surgery is cancelled as there is not enough time to figure out what is going on before this Friday. I am a nurse and recognize incompetence. Beyond incompetence. I'm pretty sure that "Brian" has something to do with the front office staff's inadequacies.
Unbelievably the rudest experience coming to this clinic! The receptionist, real name Karen needs to be fired and never to work in the healthcare industry! My appointment was scheduled for 730am. The doors were locked when I showed up. In confusion, I went to the office across the hallway inquiring if the clinic was open. I had an appointment with Rebecca Charnley and the receptionist confirmed she was there. She told me to knock at the office because they will open the doors. I go across and knocked. From a distance, the receptionist, older woman with short hair looks at me and goes away. I knocked again and no one. I called the Frederick Health Office number and they stated that they would call the Urbana location to find out what is going on. She let me know that someone will be opening the doors right now. The receptionist in her passive aggressive away went to every window to open the blinds before reaching the door to unlock it and then turns around without saying a word. I spoke and said "Why isn't the office open at 730am?" She said I. a stern tone, your appointment is at 745. I replied I was given specific instructions to arrive at 730am. She retorted, "it was difficult to get here and there was traffic." She asks for my name and then said "I don't need anything from you, you can sit down" She checked in a man immediately after me and changed her tone, talked to him more, and expressed pleasantries. I plan to submit a formal complaint to Frederick Health. The doctor and nurses who checked me in were wonderful despite the negative first impression.
Receptionist extremely rude from the get go. Gave me attitude when I ask for a mask and lecture me that I always should have a mask when on a medical facility. Than she had a problem with me watching TV and told me she was going to call security because I asked her what was her problem. Very unhappy bitter front desk receptionist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
