Frederick Primary Care Associates's Online Review Report Card

This is the most incompetent & unprofessional primary care practice I have ever seen. I have left various messages for the nurse & was never called back. I waited nearly an hour on the portal for a virtual doctors appointment. When a doctor was finally about to see me he disconnected the zoom line. I had to start all over. When I was ill with Covid not a single doctor was interested in providing therapeutics. From there I became very ill with bilateral pneumonia and blood clots in the microvasculature of my lungs. Had I been given therapeutics within the first 72 hours I would not have become so sick. Post Covid, I went in for follow up labs. On the first attempt they didn’t process my labs correctly, as one specimen was supposed to be frozen. I was asked to return to get my blood drawn again. When I told them they needed to freeze the specimen they disagreed with me. After much round-and-round I asked them to reach out to LabCorp to verify. Lo and behold, they were wrong and my blood WAS supposed to be frozen. When I left a message for the manager to follow up with me regarding the absolute incompetency of this practice. I got nothing. Instead, they sent me a letter saying they were discontinuing my care did to noncompliance!!! 😂 Really though, it’s OK, I had already switched to a new practice with a wonderful new PCP. If you’re considering going to this practice run far far far away now! THE WORST.

Terrible practice. Avoid at all costs. I was with them for a 10 solid years, putting up with the atrocious attitudes of the front desk staff. I did it because I LIKED my Drs., Hall and Ajebon. Well, Dr. Hall left and I was put with Dr. Ajebon who I initially thought was lovely! However, I only had one apt with her in which she immediately put me on SSRIs, and by the time I was due for a recheck, I get a call out of the blue saying I was dismissed from the practice PER DR. AJEBON for missing 'too many apts'. I said what??? They said you can only have 4 total. . . they cited two missed apts from 2018, one from 2019, and one from two weeks ago when I was SNOWED IN. I asked for reconsideration but the staff would not hear it. RUN!

I've been seeing Dr. Juliano in Urbana for a number of years. She is a caring, intelligent doctor who strives to help you achieve your best health and wellness. I appreciate her willingness to spend the time it takes, she is respectful, diligent and understanding.  She is a doctor who is in touch with her heart and soul, and that makes a wonderful difference.  As far as the office goes, rarely, if ever, have I had to wait for more than 10 minutes.  And when I call, I am most often greeted with efficient, helpful staff. I've read some of the other reviews here on the Urbana practice, and understand some of the negative ones. What I would like to point out is that, though this office has had some (not many! :-) less than stellar people employed over the years, those people were let go once they were found out. This can happen anywhere, and to me, it is a vote of confidence that the less competent staff didn't retain their positions.

As other has mentioned the level of care here is not up to par.  I also was dismissed for bogus reasons without even a call.  They claim I missed appointments which was only two. They have rescheduled my appointments last minute on their side more than I can count but apparently that's ok.  I am a working professional and it take an act of god to get in touch with folks.  They never return calls in timely fashion and frequently don't refill perceptions promptly.  I go on for doctors visit and the PA acts like she is scared to touch me.  They are happy to talk but basic medical care that actually involves using medical skills is lacking.  The folks don't really seem to care on there and the one doctors that was excellent Dr Bonnie Fittleberg retired.  They don't like it when you complain about anything and will find ways to dismiss you without even trying to find solution. Their hours of care is not flexible for working professionals at all.  No late hours are offered at this location.  Do yourself a favor and find a more competent practice.

Happened in the past before COVID times, I had a 103 fever and they kept me in waiting room for 3 hours. Ridiculous place. They just want to get the money from your insurance company with their awful service. Making money is their primary purpose not patient care.

I finally am done with your office. The front staff constantly hangs up on me when the relay is announcing themselves, that's rude. I just found out who my primary care doctor is this week, no word on who my new doctor was going to be after Dr. Fitleberg retired, rude again, no communication. I called to make an appointment and was told I must finish the medication I'm on before I can make another appointment. I know the medication I'm on isn't working, what kind of service is that? I'm done!!! Avoid this office at all costs!!!If there was a rating of 0, this is what the office would be getting.

They do not take Tricare.
