List of Frederick Primary Care Associates's Reviews
I was dismissed from the practice by my primary care provider (physician's assistant) for canceling/rescheduling too many times while I was going through one of the worst times of my life; navigating a controlling and dangerous relationship while raising an infant. FPCA Spring Ridge has been my primary care provider (as well as that of my parents) since I first moved to Frederick as a child, about 20 years ago. It's difficult not to feel hurt by this, but I'm trying to be understanding. Regardless, it's unacceptable that the female doctors, physician's assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, whomever, choose to take cancelations personally instead of being supportive of women who don't have the luxury of consistency. Trust me, I also wish I could be at every single appointment, without ever needing to cancel or reschedule.

Torn between leaving 2 or 3 stars for Springridge. Wish there was a 2 1/2 star option. Long before COVID, the attached sign was placed in the reception window. The sign is absurdly unprofessional. The fact that they don't realize it is astounding. If incidents happened with 10 patients, then address it with 10 patients. Signage aside, there have been quite a few times when staff was supposed to take care of certain, important things and they did not. The oversights/errors were an inconvenience to me as the customer/patient. People understandably make mistakes, but take ownership rather than disregard the errors as no big deal. If this is a trend with other customers/patients, perhaps this is a factor in patients getting upset. When I have shared my experiences of inconvenience with senior staff, it has been disregarded every time. Perhaps some genuine introspection is needed to assess the workplace culture/customer experience.
Had my appointment canceled 4 times yes 4 times. I understand the situation with COVID but this is unacceptable Maybe they don’t want Medicare patients. I’ll be finding new primary care physician
I shall I say was a patient at this office. I had no problem with my doctor here but of late I have not even been able to schedule an appointment. I scheduled an appointment back in June of 2021. It was canceled and after that 3 other appointments. So 4 scheduled visits were canceled. After the last cancellation they indicated they were short staffed. I can understand that due to COVID but come on let me know the first time. So don't waste your time go elsewhere. I am!
I've been going to this office for five years. I have conditions that require regular visits so I've been there quite a few times. I have serious medical conditions and have reasons to believe that I've not received the best care I could. I've ditched them for a local Johns Hopkins primary care doctor and suggest that everyone else does the same.
I'm the youngest of 3 and everyone in my family goes to this practice and seems to like it well enough. I aged out of pediatrics right before the start of the pandemic so I've mostly been flitting through urgent cares when needed, but I finally got an appointment here to get an actual primary care doc at the urging of my mom. This practice is wack- like, crazy wack. If you are looking to become a new patient, you can't reschedule or cancel your appointment. After you've done this twice, they won't take you on as a patient- no matter how far in advance you call them to work something out. I'd understand having to pay a fee for cancelling within so many hours/days, but this was pretty ridiculous (especially when your schedule is constantly changing because college). Long story short: the staff is suuuuuper rude here. When I arrived for my appointment, I was immediately berated by the receptionist for being "late" even though I was still 15 minutes early for my appointment. Maybe she'd been having a bad day, but she decided to pick on a new patient that was confused over a lack of clarity with new patient appointments and communication. I was continuously blamed for misunderstanding and subject to snide remarks about how "this is why you get here on time." She mentioned it every other sentence (the level of pettiness would honestly be impressive if it wasn't a late 50s person in health care targeting a 21 y/o new patient). After my appointment was over, and I was finishing any paperwork, I heard someone outside of the exam room snarkily ask the doctor if I was "still crying" in the room. Which, yeah, you can imagine how that feels. TLDR: Dr. Nejati was wonderful but the rest of the staff were exceptionally rude and mean. Definitely do not recommend this practice.

I have been going to this practice for over 15 years, and I'm not sure when exactly the decline in care came from the doctor's and staff but over the past few years it's been nothing but a nightmare dealing with them.Between misdiagnosis and the lack of care I have finally decided today was the day I look for better care in a family practice. The bedside manor has been horrendous, the front office staffing is either not educated or just don't care about what they are doing, the appointment times that never are on time, at least 30 minutes or more past time, the lack of care and compassion. They also put things into your chart that are not accurate as far as how they handled your care which again over the past several visits has been absolutely awful! They are very unprofessional. If you want a family practice, do yourself a favor and bypass the spring ridge office. Not sure as a whole for frederick primary care how things go but I'm not willing to take anymore time with my health to find out!
Horrible office staff. Rude, tell you they will do something and do not. Spoke with Nurse Practitioner about it and she said what do you want me to do about it? Time to leave this place. Advise you stay away.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
