Gerrit Schipper Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been with Dr Gerrit Schipper for over 25 years and he has been the best! He is always caring and lets you talk about any issues you may be having. I would give him 5 stars for all my visits with him.

Dr. Schipper is very thorough during my annual well-woman exam but what makes him exceptional, is that he always inquires about my family. He remembers personal details that shows he cares about my life outside of the stirrups :-)

Dr. Schipper is so kind, compassionate and caring. He takes his time with you, listens to your concerns, he never rushes you . Dr. Schipper talks to you at your level. Dr. Schipper is an AMAZING doctor and I value his expertise advice plus I totally trust him. So good to see Dr. Schipper, he's always pleasant and makes you feel comfortable,

Dr. Schipper, is a wonderful Dr. He has the best bed side manor. He listens to what you have to say as well.

First time seeing Dr. Schipper. He was warm and funny without being condescending. He was matter-of-fact but not cold. I was apprehensive about this visit but left feeling relieved and confident in his performing my upcoming procedure.

I can not praise this man enough. He took amazing care of my elderly grandmother. He would push her in her wheelchair and speak to her in Spanish. He had the heavy task of telling us her cancer was terminal. He treated the moment delicately but also was firm in letting us know the truth and although it was hard to hear, we needed to know what the situation was in its entirety.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schipper for over 20 years; I travel from a nearby town, about 25 miles away rather than going to a doctor closer to home because I trust Dr. Schipper and always am treated with respect and dignity , and because He has my history and has given me good reliable care over the years. He takes time with me as a patient, is very good in answering any of my questions or concerns, and is very thorough in explaining things. I will continue to be his patient as long as he continues as a doctor and if you are looking for a kind, thorough knowledgeable doctor, even if you don't live right in Frederick, he is worth the drive!

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Schipper and he was incredible. I had been running in circles. He identified my thyroid numbers and post menopausal numbers determined a few more tests were needed for us to figure out what to do. Reviewed with me what we were doing to do and why. What the best and worst case scenarios could be. How we would address. Compassionate expert. Thank you so much.

Dr. Schipper is kind, compassionate, and thorough. He takes time to talk to his patients, and he puts one quite at ease. I know that I am one of many who are devoted to his warm and supportive care. I had a procedure not too long ago, and a few friends took me out to lunch a few weeks after. Because I had experienced the procedure, we started talking about our wonderful OBGYNs—it was almost a competitive gushing really. Then I said the man’s name. They all stopped talking and then all together they exclaimed, “ Dr. Shcipper is my doctor too!” He is a healer on many levels. This is a true story.

As per usual Dr. Schipper gave me the best experience. Accurate, affirming, and quick. I ouldn't ask for a better GYN
