Jeffrey Gilsdorf Md's Online Review Report Card

I had an appointment scheduled for 3:15pm with Dr. Gilsdorf. I arrived for my appointment 4 minutes late because I got stuck at the red light turning onto TJ Drive. I had no idea traffic was going to be so congested, as I do not frequent this side of town. When I arrived and checked in it was 3:19. I waited in the lobby for about 7-10 minutes and was told that Dr. Gilsdorf would not see me and that I would need to reschedule my appointment because I was 4 minutes late and should have arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. I was not advised at the time of making my appointment, via the numerous text messages/emails, or during the pre check in process online to arrive 15 minutes early. What is the point in scheduling an appointment time if you want the patient to arrive at a time different than the appointment? I am disappointed at the level of unprofessionalism and lack of empathy from this provider.

I would not recommend this doctor that refuses to see a patient who shows up on time for an appointment because they were not 15 minutes early. All paperwork was completed online in advance and I received 3 text notifications confirming my appointment time and none of these said anything about arriving 15 minutes early. Could not believe I wasted so much time. I would never go back here!

Dr Gilsdorf is a caring and truly talented and professional doctor. He is not concerned about a quick and easy fix , he takes the time need to evaluate the problem and give solutions to resolve the problem that is right for you . He is punctual and his staff is very helpful and professional. It was a pleasure to go to a doctor that showed that much attention to your needs and not like you were just a number for the day

Dr. Gilsdorf has replaced my right ACL, and done arthroscopic work on my knee. He's treated me for a broken heel (calcaneus) and separated shoulder. I appreciate his knowledge, attentiveness, and his guidance/recommendation for alternatives to surgeries. I appreciate him rebuilding me every time and I'm sure I'll be seeing him again in the future after my next snowboard/skateboard injury!

I have seen Dr. Gilddorf once 2010 when he did knee replacement. Today I saw him for my torn right rotator cuff. He is a very thorough doctor and explains things. Looks for alternatives to surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Gilsdorf.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gilsdorf's for several years. He is one of the best and most compassionate doctors I know. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Gilsdorf has been our Ortho Surgeon for a number of years and we trust him implicitly. He has repaired my husband's knees 3 times and my shoulder. I wouldn't go anywhere else! He's a great communicator and give you plenty of options.

Excellent service

Excellent physician. I have seen Dr. Gilsdorf for various issues over the years. Always right on target with the correct diagnosis and treatment plan with quick resolution of issues. Recently, I was in for knee pain. Dr. Gilsdorf saw me, had X-Rays done on same visit in the office then came back into the room with a treatment plan. Very efficient. Excellent office staff.

After a very careful and calculated consultation with Dr. gilsdorf I am grateful to be under his care to repair a shoulder injury. It was a very careful and conscientious and educational approach to the injury and the decisions to move forward.
