The staff is always warm and personable!! Appointments are easy to get and they are Very respectful of your time. The nurse who gave me my tetanus shot was nice, quick and painless. Thanks Dr Tam, Kaila and shot lady 😇

Worst practice I’ve ever had the misfortune of attending. I originally went to the one in Rockville where I had a great doctor. But when I switched to Frederick it went downhill. My PCP doesn’t listen. When I tried seeing a nurse I explained a pain in my hip and he said, just don’t move it that way. The last straw was having to schedule a telehealth appointment in order to get a prescription refill for cholesterol medication and waiting for over 50 minutes with no one jumping in at any point to apologize or explain. See attached screenshot. My appointment was at 2, and by 2:53, still no doctor. I’m now searching for a new practice. I hadn’t switched because I like how easily I can access a decade of medical records but it’s not worth it for the terrible service the medical staff consistently provides.

I have been going to JHCP in Frederick for years. Dr. Hussain is an incredible doctor - both in knowledge, encouragement and treatment. Despite moving over an hour away from the office, it's more than worth the drive to ensure she remains my PCP!

Please read what others have said about this clinic; billing is terrible, the blood lab and dermatologists they refer you too (in the same building) are equally terribly run and it all points to one theme; convenience. This place doesn't care about you or your family, they care about fast and easy money. They'll file as many claims as they can with your provider and don't bother to make connections with other medical professionals outside this building.

Amber has been a wonderful provider and is very attentive. I've felt that all my concerns are addressed thoroughly. Her medical assistant Shaniqua is professional and very friendly too. Very happy with my choice to establish care at this facility!

Did not charge my insurance for my first visit and I haven't been able to get ahold of someone for weeks. I have called multiple numbers that all go to voicemail, messaged in the portal, and even sent a letter. My insurance was in the portal when I logged in for my first appt. Mind boggling no one seems to be around. I wont be going back nor paying anything but my copay.
