List of Karen Hundemer's Reviews
I love dr hundermer she’s very honest and tries her best to get to the bottom off whatever is going on with your body .
Not the place to be seen if you don’t have insurance or looking to pay for your own care.
She is extremely prejudiced against fat people, and tries to attribute any problem you have to your weight, without bothering to investigate other possible causes for symptoms. Years ago, I went to her because I was worried about losing my job, I was so fatigued. The whole discussion with her focused on my weight and how to reduce it. She had no interest in even assessing what else might be going on. Her recommendation to me was to hike.Turns out I had Lyme disease, which no one in the history of the world has ever acquired because they are fat. Had I been thin, perhaps she would have actually investigated the cause of my fatigue and treated me properly sooner. Hiking (which, duh, I was FAR too fatigued to do anyway) does not cure Lyme disease. Antibiotics do. Because of her substandard care, I had to endure weeks of fatigue progressing to joint pain, heart palpitations, and anxiety attacks.
Wow! Attentive, knowledgeable, kind. Highly recommend!
I usually see Dr. Ciarkowski in Spring Ridge, but I needed to go to the Solarex Court office for an after-hours walk-in sick visit yesterday. Dr. Hundemer saw me, and she was amazing. She spent plenty of time with me, and I did not feel rushed at all. She explained everything and seemed genuinely concerned for my well-being. I would certainly recommend her.
Dr. Hundemer is an excellent doctor. I have been a patient for nearly 20 years.
Staff are very nice. However, there are times that there can be a long weight.
Amazing and thorough doctor!!!!!
Dr. Hundemer is experienced, intelligent, considerate, a good listener and clear with her evaluation and direction. A solid model for the medical profession.
I began seeing Dr. Hundemer after being referred to her by a family member. I had talked to her previously when visiting with said family member and found her to be very pleasant, knowledgeable, and what I would call "cool." However, in my own initial visit I was EXCEPTIONALLY disappointed. First of all, I was in the office for about 2 hours, even with an appointment! When I was finally able to see Dr. Hundemer, she didn't seem a bit how she was the first time I had met her. I understand that there are many, many patients she may see per year, but as a healthcare worker, I believe it to be appropriate to treat every single patient in the same professional and friendly manner, regardless of how you really feel or what is going on at home. Because I am in a program for continuing education in healthcare, I recently read an article on how NOT to treat patients, and found it funny that she exhibited about 80% of the key points found on that article. It also just astonishes me to this day that during that interview, she continually sighed, rolled her eyes, didn't seem present, and made me feel like my whole existence was trivial to her own. When asking about my personal life, where I was going to school and what for, she decided to sum me up in a split second and then belittled me, telling me in other words to "study harder because you're not too bright." Absolutely insulting. Since this visit, I have found the rest of the staff to be so pleasant, and I always request to be seen by one of the PA's in the office. You know, perhaps something was troubling her... But I'm sorry Dr. Hundemer, when you're in healthcare please leave it at the door. Don't show your ugly attitude to new patients. You've truly shown me how NOT to treat my own!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
