Kristin Nesbitt Silon's Online Review Report Card

It was a great and very helpful experince to see Dr. Silon for a consultation.

Went to Dr. Nesbitt Silon on a recommendation from my primary care doctor. Had issues with my index finger since I cut my hand about 3 months prior. Dr. Nesbitt Silon loosely provided some options including doing nothing, PT, and surgery. Left the decision up to me, but provided very little guidance or pros/cons of each option. When I went back for a consultation she mentioned that she would consult the PT who was treating me, but no such conversation took place. She comes across as distant and not very personable.

After carpal tunnel tunnel surgery, got a horrible scar tissue built up like a rock in the palm of my hand. Worse than before and wish I didn’t get the surgery. Then Doctor wouldn’t see me for an appointment while I’m in pain and can’t bend my finger (trigger finger) unless I paid a bill I received two days ago in the mail for almost $1,000.00 (as receptionist said my insurance paid me instead of them and I couldn’t be seen unless I paid at least $200.00 today). I won’t be extorted at the doctors office. My insurance always pays medical providers directly so this would be extremely rare or weird and for them to refuse to treat someone in need and pain for a bill they just issued is unacceptable. Calling insurance to see what’s going on but regardless how it turns out, I won’t go back here. No way

I was so excited about seeing a hand specialist who could tell me what was going on with my right hand. I was disappointed in the way Dr. Nesbitt came into the room to meet me and check out my hand. She couldn't do anything for my hand nor did she have the time to go over my x-ray to show me what was taking place. She explain that it was genetic and I accepted this but I drove an hour to see her, filled out questionnaire, took x-ray to have a 5 minute visit with no solution or option. She simply said, "there's nothing I can do for you". Its very disappointing that she could not have taken the time to show me what was actually happening on the x-ray that I had taken time to do. Office staff and pre-exam assistant were kind and did excellent job. Office was clean. I cannot recommend Dr. Nesbitt Silon. The empathy wasn't there and I could tell she was pressed for time and limited on information.

Dr. Nesbitt is a pleasure to consult. She is thorough and explains everything in detail for you. Her office staff is the exact opposite.

The dr.Nesbitt and her PA Catherine Rose treated my right hand in a completely wrong way. Incorrectly prescribed medications increase pain. In my opinion and judging by the other types of doctors that I went to after that, she cannot understand the blood test results, X-Rays and has big problems with diagnostics. In addition, she is very rude, and I do not recommend contacting her.

My overall experience has been great.

Excellent explanation of my condition, was very through as well has recommended treatment. In office procedure explained and executed in a very professional way. I would highly recommend Dr. Nesbitt and MMI.

Dr Nesbitt was very friendly and explained everything in clear detail and didn’t push me into having surgery on my thumb. Staff is very friendly.

Dr. Nesbit listened to my issue and provided feedback quickly in a professional manner. She didn’t waste my time and promptly completed our visit, with the path forward.
