My step son is having his wisdom teeth removed today and the entire procedure is covered by insurance except the anesthesia which is a 250$ payment. My step son and his mother drove an hour for his procedure today and his mother had 150$ and she asked me for the rest. I told her i couldn’t send it til the banks opened at 8 and of course his appointment was at 8 and instead of being understanding to their predicament and accepting 150$ and taking my son to prep him for the surgery knowing with in minutes I was sending his mother the 100$ difference they told her he would have to be rescheduled and payment in full. So here is a doctors office living well in the upper middle class lifestyle and no doubt had zero interest or empathy with my son and his mother’s situation. That to me says a lot about the character of an office. Other than ignorance there’s no reason why they couldn’t have started this procedure which was the extraction of 4 wisdom teeth. Insurance was paying the entire procedure out of pocket was the anesthesia. Of which she had 150 of the 250. Now luckily I was able to send the difference with out everything falling apart but this office is just example of why this country is so screwed up. This office didn’t even attempt to want to show any type of empathy but that doesn’t mean the procedure won’t go well. And maybe the procedure gets 5 stars. Then I can raise my average to 3 stars and leave it in managements hands to deal with the weak link in their system

When I learned I needed an implant for my tooth #30 after the failure of an old, unrecoverable root canal, my anxiety immediately spiked. It brought back the same unwarranted worry I’d felt before the original root canal years ago. My first impression came from the front office and staff — and it was excellent. Instead of the typical tense waiting room and the dreaded stack of 15 pages on a clipboard, everything was streamlined and automated. The staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Once I was called back, the experience continued on the same positive note. After a quick set of x rays, I was brought to an exam room where Dr. Hoffrichter’s assistant reviewed my situation and discussed tooth #30 with me. Shortly after, Dr. Hoffrichter entered with a smile and continued the conversation. His examination confirmed I was a good candidate for an implant. He explained that the process typically involves two sessions with about four weeks of healing time. I could begin immediately or schedule for later. I chose to start that day, beginning with a clear, detailed discussion of the procedure, expectations, Q&A, and additional electronic imaging. The second session, held the following week, involved removing tooth #30 and placing the titanium implant. Dr. Hoffrichter mentioned that most patients tell him the procedure is far easier than expected — and he was absolutely right. The only discomfort I felt was the brief “bee sting” of the novocaine injection. The entire procedure was quicker and more comfortable than I imagined. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Hoffrichter for any oral surgery needs. His expertise, his staff, and his state of the art office are truly exceptional. John M. Best Frederick, Maryland

I love this office I was super nervous about my wisdom teeth extractions and everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Dr. Mark and his staff was fast and friendly and understanding and explained the process every step of the way.

I went in for tooth extraction, it was the best experience ever. The Dr. was patient and kind which makes the procedure calm and pain free.
