List of Medexpress Urgent Care's Reviews
It’s nice to go to an urgent care facility where you’re seen by an actual doctor, especially one like Dr. Patel.
1 star for the 1 minute that they took before shooing my mother out the door dismissing all her concerns without even giving her a chance to speak them. My mother came in after waking up having blurred vision, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pains, and half of one of her eyes totally red. Aside from the symptoms in her eyes, she had been feeling the others for a couple days. Once she’s finally being examined, the HP looked at her eye, but he did not ask any questions about other symptoms, if she hurt her eye, medical history, etc. Nothing. He prescribed her drops and opened the door to let her out. She tried to ask questions and raise concern about her other symptoms, but he continued to speak over her and lead her out of the examination room. We ended up having to bring her to an urgent care 40 miles away just to have her seen by a physician who will take her seriously. I understand why the wait times at this UC aren’t terrible; it’s because they don’t actually care to listen or properly diagnose. Save your time and whoever needs actual care, and just drive to a different urgent care no matter how far away.
Everyone was professional and friendly, and did a great job. Triage nurse was thorough and competent. The doctor apologized for my wait, and explained that the patient before me had needed extra time. Still, I was out in an hour. I thought the doctor was very good, and appreciated that he took the time to explain my issue and course of treatment.
This is by far the worst service I have ever had. The NP spent less than 5 mins in the room with me. She barely even looked in my ear. I told her usually I needed an antibiotic or something to clear me up and she said no gave me nasal spray and cough medicine ( which was similar to what I was already doing for 5 days). I went home and woke up with blood on my pillow from my ear. So I took myself to another urgent care and had a busted ear drum. Now have to see ENT. So not only did i have to pay a copay there I had to pay a second copay at another urgent care just to be seen properly.
We had a good experience today.
My attending medical tech and Dr. Shah very kind and thorough. The receptionist checked me in but allowed me to leave and be called when they had an available opening. A job well done by all.
I really don’t understand why they’re so slow since nobody is here. Maybe there’s something I don’t understand which is why they get two stars but I came in because my eye feels like it may be infected and I’ve been sitting around for an hour…
I have used this location twice in the last 6 months. Dr. Tak takes symptoms seriously and is both good and thorough. First time I thought I had an inner ear infection because my balance was bad and I was walking funny. Dr. Tak insisted I be checked out at the hospital and he was right - I was diagnosed as being in a full blown Multiple Sclerosis flare up - a disease I didn't know I had! Thank you Dr. Tak
Understaffed for the day ( but who isn’t these days ) good communication , friendly professional staff. I needed to be seen and they did that.
I am giving this place one star not because I can't give zero but because the front desk help was the only good part about my visit. The provider was.. short with me and made me feel like I was overreacting to my own medical concerns. I explained what I thought was wrong and she basically told me that I was wrong and she didn't even look in my ears as I said I felt like I had something going on and she said no I didn't. I left there feeling... rushed and not helped. I was the first person through the door and I was seen 45 minutes into me being there! Worst of all last night the same day of my visit my ear hurt like crazy. So I went to a doctor today. 24 hours later and they said they were shocked they missed how infected my ear is. I will never come back. I will never recommend them. The front desk staff was friendly and kind, that's about the only positive thing I can say.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
