Great dental team ! We love Opal Ridge dental office! My husband and I long time dedicated patients of Opal Ridge dental office. Doctor and staff are very nice, professional, and truly care about their patients. Facility is clean, and comfortable. Our daughter is turned 14, and now she is a new patient of Opal Ridge dental office as well. She had her braces removed recently at the Frederick pediatric dentistry, and her side teeth on the both sides turned brownish yellow. Frederick pediatric dentistry says nothing we can do exept bleaching/or veneers. They never even told us what and why caused it. I asked them , if anything else can be tryed, before offering such a harsh treatments. They said no, thats her options, and also gave us refferal to the root canal specialist, which wants to charge us only for consultation - nonerefundable $300. I decided to show her to Dr. Thackenkary for second opinion. Turns out its enamel demineralization, very common after braces removal. He recommend prescription tooth paste to use for couple of months and see if its improve her condition. It was a huge relief, and honestly we are understand it might work or might not, but it least he is caring enough and trying least harmfull option instead of bleaching.We are highly recommend this office.

I needed an emergency x-ray with very limited time constraints and they were able to not only see me to do the x-ray, but Dr. Thackenkary was able to see me and talk to me about next steps. Felt a huge relief being able to get in so quickly and really appreciative!
