This place is like a total umbrella of dental care with multiple disciplines under one roof like general dentistry to oral surgery. I had taken my disabled adult daughter with severe health problems and she was seen by Dr. Avillo who had served in the Navy with distinction for over 25 years. He and his staff were extremely helpful in evaluating my daughter's dental needs. Because of her health conditions she has to go to a hospital nearby for oral surgery. Ms. Elena, billing specialist in this office personally took time to explain to me the dental treatment plan and our responsibility very clearly. In my experince Ms. Elena is very knowledgeable in the area of complex issues governed by Medicaid and Medicare. I am totally satisfied with staff, dental surgeon and the owner of this business. The owner is amazingly a nice business man with unwavering dedication to excellent patient care.

The branch at Frederick is going downhill pretty quickly. The last 3 times I was there I had to wait over 50 mins to be seen despite having booked my appointments months in advance. Is it too difficult for the receptionists to give you a courtesy call to make you aware so you can come an hour later? The receptionists don’t even acknowledge that the dentists are running an hour late even when you check in which is appalling. They have specialists like the endodontist who only works there once a week and it’s booked months in advance so if something goes wrong with your root canal (like in my case) the doctor can’t see you for weeks which is unacceptable. It took me almost 3 months to have my root canal finished when it should have just been 2 weeks at any other dentist. Twice I called the office to talk to doctor Stringer to complaint and twice I was told she was on vacation and they refused to put me through the assistant Manager. The lines at reception are ridiculous too because they never have enough staff and all the receptionist other than Abigail and Robyn are rude and quite useless. Their billing system is not transparent enough and the prices are very expensive. I will never go back there for my own treatment again and the only dentist I recommend is Dr Tigani who is an amazing orthodontist.

Dr Avallo and Elena were very nice and understanding of my son's condition. They treated very well and with respect. I recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a dentist for special need person.

So helpful through every step of the insurance and billing process, and very kind people. Elena helped me figure out a faster way to get my son's care and it meant so much.
