Rishi Gupta Md's Online Review Report Card

I had suffered miserably not being able to get the necessary surgery in a timely manner due to the COVID-19 pandemic being unfortunate to be repeatedly bumped from the surgery list due to a series of blunders which caused undue delays and other "bizarrities" here in Frederick, MD. Doctor Gupta had after all of this waiting decided and for apparently no good reason abruptly dropped me as a patient by sending me a certified letter saying that he no longer wanted to be my surgeon do to some fanciful reason having to do with my having violated "patient doctor" confidentiality which was never explicitly explained to me and for which I am thankful that he sent me this letter because it reflects everything that I had sensed about this doctor over the last year from my previous medical appointments which was that he was uncaring and very shallow. Sometimes God moves in mysterious ways, and I must say that this was the case with Dr. Gupta, God steered me toward a much better and caring doctor.

First time meeting Dr Gupta and he is wonderful. He is super nice has great bedside manner and listens to you. Highly recommend him!!

Dr. Gupta did a fantastic job on my total left hip replacement. He is the kindest surgeon with which I have ever worked! I would recommend him highly.

Dr. Gupta's bedside manner is second to none. He's not just personable, but personal. Dr. Gupta (or Dr. G. as I like to call him) has been able to take the fear and trepidation out of my normal experience with injections of all kinds (including my recent shots for Covid). He takes the time to explain my particular circumstances and then presents his professional opinion in providing me with the various alternatives at his disposal. Dr. G. never uses "doctor talk", and his unfailingly informal and upbeat disposition always makes me feel as if I'm dealing with a friend who has my best interests at the forefront. Next to my childhood pediatrician, Dr. G is by far my favorite doctor of all time!

Dr. Gupta is amazing. He did a total knee replacement on both my knees. My left knee was worse then the right. Had to go to er for a possible infection or blood clot and Dr Gupta came down after his surgery to make sure everything was OK with my knee. He waited till I got discharged before he left and told me to come Monday to office so he can look at it again. He tells you everything you need to know so you understand what will happen. I would recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone who need hip or knee surgery.

Dr. Gupta is very personable. He listened attentively to my description of my symptoms. He did a thorough exam. He explained his diagnosis in clear, easy to understand language.

Dr. Gupta takes time and listens to your needs. I would recommend him with being my doctor.

Dr. Gupta was professional, personal, and pleasant. What I particularly liked was he listened to me first before he discussed what he found on x-rays and other available medical resources. He thoroughly explained the alternative treatments available, provided the least invasive treatment first, gave me information and advice before leaving, as well explaining the help a knee brace would and having me measured (with no heavy sales pitch and a week to think about it). He had excellent staff. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Dr. Gupta has replaced both of my hips and I'm doing great! The right one is 4 years old and the left is 1 year old. No more pain! He is the best at what he does and he is a joy to work with. Just had my follow up with him and can't wait to see him again in 2 years!

Dr. Gupta has done both a hip and knee replacement for me, and nobody could ever ask for a better engaged surgeon. Dr. Gupta is very focused, yet keeps the moments light and keeps a sense of humor about all the craziness. I can't recommend him highly enough
