I originally saw Dr. Shamim for my own podiatry issues, and was always impressed with how she listened to me and took her time. But what really won me over and prompted me to leave a review was when I had to take my intellectually disabled adult brother to see her. Her kindness and compassion towards him made what could have been a very stressful day into a breeze of a visit, and she came up with a solution for him that I never would have thought possible. Dr. Shamim is a true treasure!

I was referred to Dr. Shamim by Teri O'Neil CRNP at Dr. Syed office. An excellent referral. Dr. Shamim is personable, thorough, caring and provides excellent care. The entire office and support staff is excellent. I have type 2 diabetes and am receiving wonderful support and service. Without any reservations I recommend Dr. Shamim at Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic in Frederick, MD.

Dr. Shamim was through in examining my foot. Listened to my questions and to my answers to her questions. She explained what the x-ray showed, and what her recommendations where. I would definitely recommend her to friends. Staff was great!

Dr.Shamim is one of the best doctors I’ve been to. She takes time with her patients and makes sure all questions and concerns are fully answered before leaving your appointment. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. I would recommend this facility and Dr.Shamim to anyone having foot or ankle issues.
