List of Stephen Glaser Md's Reviews
Just finished our post-op appointment after surgery with Dr. Glaser. Our daughter is doing great and so pleased with results. Dr. Glaser is really took the time to explain everything to us and alleviate our fears about our daughter having surgery.
We love Dr. Glaser and would recommend him without hesitation. It is a busy practice but they move you through and I felt like the doctor took his time and made sure we understood and got our questions answered. He is very knowledgeable and great with my kids. When we have a dilated exam, then the wait time is longer but that is our experience for all eye doctors.
Dr. Glaser really seemed to know his stuff but also was so good at explaining everything to my nervous daughter and to me.
Worst wait ever. They clearly have no experience in work loads nor have any idea of how to work efficiently. They give 2 hour allotted times and most of the time you are waiting for the appointment. Good doctors but they clearly make their patients wait an exorbitant amount of unnecessary time.
Rude office staff. Dr is always 1+ hours late - add 2 hours to any appointment end time. Good diagnosis, but grumpy patient interaction.
I have been a patient with Dr. Glaser for almost 10 years. While we like Dr. Glaser. Something needs to be done to improve the overall office. The staff is rude, unhelpful and don't care about patients. They only care to process paperwork and do the administrative tasks of the office. It is a stressful environment and the waiting area is a mess with little space. This is especially concerning when any time you visit this office, expect to be there for at least 2 to 3 hours regardless of when you have your appointment. The doctor is late EVERYTIME, yet they want you there 15 minutes before your appointment. Also, they only take cash.
really seems to care about the kids and takes time to talk to parents and make sure they understand.
My son was born with some brain injuy and was having trouble reading and we had been getting vision therapy for years without good results. After we switched to Dr. Glaser, he took our son out of the prism glasses and gave a new prescription for reading glasses that our son immediately noticed they helped him read much more easily. He feels grateful Dr. Glaser took the time to help him. The doctor tried them out on my son in the office and showed him how close to put the book to his eyes. Thank you!
My son was tilting his head and it did not get better until Dr. Glaser did surgery on his eye that fixed his head tilting!
saw this doctor twice when my baby was 5 months old and again when she was 10months for a follow up. Long story short he misdiagnosed what should have been very apparent to any eye doctor that my child needed medical help. 6 months later when almost losing her sight in one eye I found the right help. Have heard in the last couple of years this doctor has misdiagnosed other children. It if feels wrong to you mom/dad you are probably right go else where save your child their sight.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
