Stephen Lee Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Stephen Lee for about 20 years until now directly due to Dr. Vivian Dechosa and her assistant "Paula". Paula is ill-mannered, unscrupulous, and dishonest. Paula's pompous attitude is for sure going to take such a great Dr's creation of a family practice into a downward direction. Think hard before you chose them as your family practice.

I would rate this "practice" zero stars if that was an option. Frederick Primary Care Associates at Solarex Court has utterly fallen apart since the departure of Dr. Stephen Lee, MD. The entire office at Frederick Primary Care in Ballenger Creek is full of uneducated disreputable people now that Dr. Lee has left. The low level providers that remain do not have the high level of thinking needed to tackle complex patients. Critical thinking skills is beyond the intellect of Allison the nurse practitioner and Dr. Dale Heitzig. This office rather see their patients seize and be hospitalized than to refill their longstanding regimen of medications( a concept beyond their thinking ability). If you defend yourself as a patient, they will become verbally abusive, Paula the office manager with hangup on you as many have said, and they will dismiss you from the practice because they do not have the intelligence needed to be a top-level diagnostician. If you were a Dr. Lee patient, RUN! If you are new, RUN! Find an intelligent practice to join, and go elsewhere! Formal complaints to the Maryland Board of Physicians and Maryland Board of Nursing will ensue.

Dr Lee has been helping me through with care that has helped me return to my normal self after battling anxiety and depression. The care he has provided has helped me so much and I am so grateful for the help and guidance he had provided. Keep up the good work Dr. Lee the community counts on it.

The wait to me is worth it. He caught something two hospitals didn't catch. I trust him with my kids as well.

Dr. Lee has way too many patients, this in turn makes the waiting period longer than one wants. Despite this, he is a very experienced, knowledgeable, caring doctor I've ever seen. He listens to patients, doesn't rush off the door, and make accurate diagnosis. He also follows up patients closely and calls the patient himself, which is non existence in other doctors office. Being a medical doctor myself, I highly recommend Dr. Lee to anybody.

My mother has visited Dr. Lee for years. Fortunately she did not have any potentially serious issue (that we know of) until now. He ordered an unncessary test and shown that he knows less about standard medical procedures than we do. His staff has been rude and insensitive. No one in my family will ever return.
