List of Tanika Day's Reviews
Dr. Day a great option for me when I first moved to the area, however over the years, her bedside manner had diminished to condescending and a lazy attitude towards my health concerns started to show. I would come to her for asking for help with various health issues(stomach pains leg numbness) to be told that what I am experiencing is not an emergency or even a real issue, and was also told that if I didn't want to feel any pain or issues in my life then I should start with eliminating lifestyle choices like nicotine intake or a therapist for that pesky anxiety I had documented. Upon going to get a second opinion at a public emergency clinic, I would then be told about early signs of MS, and endometriosis.Because she herself is a woman of color like me, I expected her to take my healthcare seriously and to understand how it feels to be overlooked, but it seems as though her concerns only go as far as her billable appointments and handing off a cliche pamphlet for a healthy lifestyle.
I’ve had EXCELLENT care with Dr. Day for over 5 years. She’s knowledgeable and compassionate. I’ve received the BEST care over the years.
My daughter and I have been seen by Dr. Day since 2008 and she is GREAT. She is very personable and attentive ... cannot think of seeing another MD. In fact for the last two years, I would accept my employer's insurance (Kaiser) because JHCP (Dr.Day) would have been Out-of-Network and therefore uncovered. I now have a new employer, JHCP and Dr. Day are In-Network and I again have a second insurance to couple with my TRICARE coverage. I LOVE Dr. Day!

Always very pleasant and wearing a smile. More than willing to listen and advise. In my opinion she is the whole package. I am a very happy patient.
Was very unpleasant towards me on a recent visit. Behaved as if I was bothering her of as if she was tired of people. I will be changing Doctors.
Terrible bedside manner. Extremely rude. Not helpful. Rushes you. Keeps looking at her watch. The absolute worst. I wouldn't go to her if she were the last doctor around. Just Horrible!

Dr. Day is hands down the best physician I've ever had thus far. She is very attentive to my needs and extremely patient. She makes me feel as if I'm her only patient. She also possesses a bedside manner of which is a lost art in our day in time. What I love the most about her is that she's very accessible through my Johns Hopkins patient portal which is called "MyChart". May be hard for new patients to solicit her services because she's booked up and once you become her patient you never leave!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
