The Frederick staff was outstanding! Super friendly and even came to tell me he was running a bit behind( which was very nice to feel like they cared about me and my time too!) Dr Martin is my absolute favorite! He’s such a warm, welcoming people person and makes you feel important! While going over my 20 week anatomy scan he was super through and explained what he was doing and engaged in answering any and all our questions! He delivered my son and I’m hoping he will deliver this baby as well! I would make the 30 minute longer drive for the staff and him!

Care with SM&H through my 3rd pregnancy has been great! The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. I also really appreciate that they are almost always right on time with schedule.

Dr. Thomas Martin is by far the absolute best OB/GYN I've ever seen. He delivered my oldest 15 years ago, and I've seen him every year ever since. All those years ago, I was so nervous and scared to be delivering my first child, and he helped keep me calm and made the experience the best it could be. I highly recommend him. He is wonderful.

This is the best Dr. I could have went with. This is my third pregnancy and I am so grateful for Dr. Martin. He has delivered my first 2 daughters, 12 and 8 y.o now and I am about to have my third daughter and I wouldn't want any other doctor there...Tha k you so very much!! I used to live in Montgomery County and now live in Frederick County and they have offices in more then one location which absolutely rocks!!!!

Dr. Martin is the best OBGYN in the area. I’ve seen him for the last couple of years and I highly recommend him. He listens to you and takes his time. I’ve never felt rushed when speaking to him.

I have been seeing Dr. Martin since I moved to Maryland 10 years ago. Always very professional and thorough. Very personable and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him. Friendly office staff too.

I have been seeing dr martin for years and have no plan of seeing anyone else. He delivered 2 of my babies. Amazing, gentle doctor.

Dr. Martin missed my all of my daughter's severe defects at my 20 week anatomy scan. He told me to come back at 24 weeks so he could get a better view of her heart. He cancelled that appointment. I went back in 25 weeks and only then did he notice a missing nasal bone. He said everything else with her looked good.I was seen later that day by maternal fetal medicine and they found severe facial defects, heart defects, and a 2 centimeter cyst in her brain. Turned out she had a rare form of frontonasal dysplasia that would have caused profound mental and physical disabilities.

Dr Martin missed all of my daughter's birth defects at my 20 week anatomy scan. He said everything looked good but he wanted to get a better view of her heart at 24 weeks. That appointment was cancelled so I went back at 25 weeks. At the appointment he could not find a nasal bone but that he heart and everything else looked good. I want to maternal fetal medicine later that day and to his credit, Dr Martin helped me get seen so quickly, which I appreciate. At maternal fetal medicine they found that my daughter had severe craniofacial defects including no nose and a cleft down the front of her skull, eyes on the side of her head, heart defects, and a 2 cm cyst near her brain stem. If you use this practice I would suggest you go elsewhere for ultrasounds.
