I have been a patient of Doctor Witten for many years and would definitely recommend him. Dr. Witten has performed multiple endoscopy procedures on me and successfully diagnosed and treated my ailments in due time. I am also very impressed by nursing, anesthesia and patient care at his Urbana Capital Digestive Care Clinic.

I'm sure Dr. Whitten is a great doctor if your only complaint is an upset stomach, but if you're a complex patient (IBD, IBS, Crohn's) DON'T WAIST your TIME!! His exact statement to me was; "I am a community based GI Doctor, in a remote office with a laptop - you need to be treated in a university based GI department!" I'm now being treated at Georgetown GI by a insightful, caring physician who's MUCH MORE knowledgeable on inflammatory issues that affect the GI System!!!! At least Dr. Witten was honest!

The doctor lives in his world and think knows everything. Didn't perform any diagnostics on request for long time going issue. I just wasted my time and money, no help. Instead, my PCP did abdominal ultrasound and blood works which revealed the cause of the problem and prescribed proper medication. Will never have Dr. Witten again and highly won't recommend.
