Albert C Simmonds Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Simmonds is very impertinent and not a warm welcoming person. I had my first visit with him recently after seeing several doctors in his office and he is the first that I actually didn’t like at all. The appointment is was quick and short. He did not review my chart from my high risk doctor nor did he give any pertinent information at the stage I am at in my pregnancy. I had to literally ask him what my baby’s heartbeat was and he didn’t even tell me anything else. I was avoid him at all costs throughout the rest of my pregnancy.

Abuse of authority through overstepping and imposing beliefs on patients. Inappropriate judgmental approach to healthcare from Cara Simmonds.

Dr. Simmonds has been my Dr for 4 yrs. And he is so awesome so caring and patient, always wants to make sure I understand what he is saying so there won't be any confusion. I love the office staff so nice and helpful.

If I could rate Dr Simmonds a zero, I would. He delivered our baby st Shady Grove (or should I say that he was supposed to deliver our baby) and he was not there when we needed him the most. The umbilical cord was wrapped around our baby's neck and he walked into the delivery room late, didn't say anything, and took absolutely no initiative while watching the nurses struggle with cutting the cord. Even before that moment we found Dr Simmonds to be calous, lazy, and uninterested in doing his job or explaining what was happening to me or my wife. My wife was admitted to the hospital and was in labor with broken water for over 18 hours before he even made a visit and even then he didn't do a physical exam. The 2nd time he appeared was when he finally did a physical exam where he broke the water fully. He walked in and walked out in about 2 minutes. He clearly doesn't care about the well being of his patients. To further add insult to injury he told us that we were overreacting.

Dr. Simmonds is very sweet and caring for her patients. Each visit I have had with her has been extremely pleasant. She is easy to talk to and definitely listens to concerns and questions. Very informative and kind woman

Dr. A Simmonds is wonderful! He’s a great listener and answers questions before you even realize you would have had that question so you leave fully informed. New electronic system makes check-ins, prescriptions, and communication quick and easy.

This practice group is a joke. They don't care please don't make the same mistake I did. I'm very disappointed and will NEVER recommend this group. We had our baby in our bathroom 2 and 1/2 hrs after leaving the hospital. Here we are almost 1 week later and still haven't heard from any of the doctors.

I went to Dr. Simmonds for my prenatal appointments and is by far my favorite doctor in that entire practice. He is very nice, very easy to talk to, and always answers my questions. He helps me in every way possible. Just overall amazing doctor. For my next pregnancy I will definitely be going back to him.

Called to get my teenage daughter an appointment they was told it would be a deposit of $90. Granted you would get this back after the appointment but that seems very extreme. Scheduler stated that this was because they had a lot of people cancel and they wanted to guarantee that you would be at your appointment. CRAZINESS!!!!
