Dr.Assili is the best Doctor when it comes to the foot and or ankle. He is on top of everything and he has the best personality! He saved my right foot from a bone infection. He's very educated and knows his stuff! If you need a podiatrist he's your guy to go to.

Dr. Assisi is the best. He saved my little toe after a bad bone infection. Hands down the best Podiatrist in the world. His staff is wonderful as well.

Dr. Assili is the ultimate podiatry surgeon. When I was referred to him by the Shady Grove Adventist Health Wound Clinic, which he founded, his staff fit me in to be seen immediately. Dr. Assili effectively and thoroughly diagnosed my chronic hammer toe wound, recommended a treatment procedure plan, gave an optimistic prognosis, was compassionate, patient, and extremely available for questions, as needed. In addition , the office staff has always been quick to engage, helpful, polite, and patient in all of my interactions with them. When I was referred to another practitioner for a second opinion, I ended up fainting after that inept practitioner erroneously told me that I urgently needed to have my toe amputated or I would die. Because I passed out , the paramedics were called and I spent the evening in the ER. Upon returning to Dr. Assili, he dismissed the other erroneous doctor’s scare tactics, and with supportive humor and a calm and an understanding demeanor, immediately fit me into his already full surgery schedule. Dr. Assili completely saved my toe, all the while communicating optimism, confidence, and understanding about my anxiety. For all of this, I am eternally grateful for his existence in this world of both the highly competent and the inept. I will only see Dr. Assili for all of my podiatry needs and recommend him to everyone that values the best in podiatry medicine.
