I also have to Echo the other person's surprise on the negative reviews. I come all the way from Bethesda to see Dr. Krump and Alex. My kids love them. They are fully covered by the insurance. Free glasses!

This is the worst experience with a doctor's office that I have ever had in my entire life. I ordered a pair of glasses through him that came out absolutely horrible. I took them back to the office and was told that they checked with the DavisVision Labs and they apparently made them correctly. I returned them and the office is upset about me wanting my money back as if I am supposed to just let them keep the $240 that they charged me and not have any glasses. On top of that, both Davis Vision and my insurance company agreed that I shouldn't be paying and the office still wouldn't hold themselves accountable to return my money. Fortunately, another Optician was able to make me a suitable pair of glasses (with the same exact prescription). Finally, after debating if I still wanted to use this office since the doctor "appeared" friendly and reasonable, I called to inquire about renewing my contact lenses and was told that he no longer wants to see me. What an unprofessional joke!

Zero stars . Went here in 2017, male optician is rude and will never be back. I got an email asking me to reconsider since you treat customers bad my answers is no forever

I’m pretty surprised by the negative reviews here. Argos is out of the way for me but worth the drive because they carry many eyewear brands that most providers in my insurance network do not. The ophthalmologists provide excellent care and pay attention to details overlooked by optometrists elsewhere. The optician Alex wants you to make a purchase, no doubt, but he respects your preferences, doesn’t push if you have a budget, and is honest when the frames you’re trying on don’t look good on you. Satisfied repeat customer.

Was trying to make an appointment through the phone call, the lady that picked up the phone call was clearly impatient. The customer service is not pleasant at all.

I purchased a Groupon deal for under eye fillers, made an appointment online, showed up and the receptionist said “the lady” isn’t here and you’re at the wrong location. Wasn’t sure who the “lady” was but the receptionist stated “she” can’t keep up with her online appointments. The receptionist stated “she” was supposed to call and confirm but I never received any call nor email. I called the number on the card the receptionist gave me, received no answer, left a voicemail and didn’t receive a call back. It was a complete waste of time driving out here, a waste of money and very unprofessional.

Absolutely terrible experience with the place. I tried to use a Groupon Deal that I had purchased that day. The deal clearly stated that it was acceptable for anyone who hasn't been active with them for the last 12 months. I hadn't gone in for a visit since 4 years prior, so I should have been eligible. I tried to set up an appointment with a man named Alex and while doing so he stated that I couldn't use the Groupon. He stated that it was only for new customers, which confused me because it never stated that it was only for new customers. The conversation ended up like an argument with a child, he just kept repeating the same thing and never gave me any sort of explanation. Really disappointing experience, don't waste your time with them.
