Dr. Schwartz has been nothing but helpful, very knowledgeable and professional in every aspect of my treatment. I'm very curious about the 1-star review because based on my experience, it would seem like this person has an axe to grind for some other personal reason not related to their medical treatment. I have already recommended Dr. Eric to other people dealing with similar issues I was, and I'll continue to speak well of him and recommend him to others.

As a paraplegic with all the issues that come with it, Dr. Schwartz was the only doctor out of 5 that I saw that was kind and considerate and willing to help me with my urological issues.

DR Eric Swartz is very coordial and very informative in explaining any medical issue that is needed to be discussed. He is very cognizant of my past medical issues and takes those issues into our discussions if needed. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an urologist.

I feel he explains what he is doing and answers all my questions. The staff is very helpful and friendly

I'll give Dr. Schwartz props for a good bedside manner. As a doctor, though, my experience was awful and dangerous. I went to him upon moving to Maryland. I had BPH for several years. He took me off of the primary medication I was taking, which was fine. But he never monitored my prostate health. Not once. I went back several times (between normal checkups) complaining of increasing problems. He did not perform a single test other than a PSA, which was irrelevant to my issues. He never did an ultrasound to check bladder retention. Never did a cystoscopy to check the prostate or bladder. He never mapped out the size of the prostate. Basically, nothing. The last time I was there he recommended the Urolift procedure. I said that based on my previous doctor's cystoscopy notes, I thought that it was not applicable to my situation. He then left the office to look at the records, and came back in and said that I was correct - I wasn't a candidate for that, so he recommended a different one that he performed. In other words he was recommending operations without analyzing my current condition and that would not have solved anything. That was the last straw. I went to see another doctor at another practice. Upon entering he had a nurse do a retention test, which showed a major problem He did several other procedures to fully understand the correct way to proceed. When I said it was time for something to be done, he said "truthfully, it is far past time". The path forward was then based on facts. I strongly recommend looking for a different provider.

He’s been great with me. I tried several urologist closer to home and they all blew me off. Dr Schwartz was the only one that took the time to listen and help find a solution we both found acceptable. I wish more drs were like him. I recommend him to anyone looking for a urologist that cares about you as a person and wants to find a way to make life easier for you.

Dr. Schwartz set unrealistic expectations about my surgical recovery. He said quick recovery but I ended up in the ER afterwards with excruciating pain. He did not give detailed info. to my nurse after surgery, just that it "went well" but no details and I never saw him post-surgery. Discharge instructions were vague. He gave me incorrect info. about my rare condition instead of looking up the answer, he made it up. He was unprofessional in the office as well, joking loudly about me, etc.

Put me at ease during a time in which I was nervous about my urological health concerns! He is very kind and was happy to answer my questions. He treated me without making me feel rushed as other doctors sometimes do!

Met Dr Swartz for a routine check. I found him to be friendly and to the point. Specifically did not push for future procedures which were not needed. I will ask for this Doctor for future visits.

His staff called me a liar. Very unprofessional. I am only sorry they won't accept my critique without a star at all.
