John-Paul Rue's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Rue and his entire team have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. My story is a long one that you may not feel like reading, so I won't bore you with the details. However, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rue and Mercy in general. Everyone is very personable, and you feel as if you are heard and taken care of the way you should be. Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to the various steps of your care, which there always seems to be a lot and it's normally not very straightforward. His work as a surgeon is also phenomenal. I am over a year out from my second ACL reconstruction, he was able to repair both of my torn meniscus as well (which having them repaired versus a meniscectomy is a huge, HUGE plus for me being young and active). I am forever grateful for the wonderful care I got from Dr. Rue and his team.

A huge thanks to Dr. Rue, PA Dashiell & the entire team at Mercy Orthopedics for getting me back to doing what I love in a very short period of time. I ruptured a quadriceps tendon while running back in April 2022 & things seemed pretty bleak when I ended up in Dr' Rue's office two days later. From my initial visit to surgery day & all the way through recovery I had nothing but a positive experience with Dr. Rue & the team. Surgery went great & I am back our running like it never even happened (a couple of months ahead of normal recovery times for this injury). I don't wish an orthopedic injury on anyone but if you need it... I would highly recommend Dr. Rue.

Dr. Rue was my surgeon for my broken collarbone and did a excellent job in repairing it and the recovery process.

I needed another knee surgery (4th surgery at that time on same knee) 2 1/2 yrs ago and I decided to go see Dr.Rue after my husband had to have arthroscopic surgery. I knew I needed another surgery after my previous injuries. Dr.Rue takes the time with his patients to explain what he will be operating on and will answer your questions thoroughly. Overall he is a wonderful surgeon and highly recommend him🙂

Pain is no joke. I suffered and endured for so long before I reached out to Dr. Rue regarding my knee injury and just wouldn't heal. He found the issues and attempted some non invasive remedies at first and when my injury continued it's persistance, the only option was surgery. It was a minor surgery, but a major life changer for me. I have been living pain free ever since and I can not sing his praises enough. I highly recommend Dr Rue if you are looking for an expert in Orthopedics. He listens and he knows his stuff. Thanks Dr Rue.

Dr. Rue is an outstanding surgeon. I have had several members of my family that needed orthopedic surgeries including myself. All of them have seen Dr. Rue with outstanding results.

Hi Doc!! He operated on my shoulder in Okinawa,Japan in 2005! He was my life saver. Immediately gained my trust. Knowledgeable way back then,spent time,answered questions,kept me reassured. Gets the job done every time. I will not go to another doctor for any of my injuries. Great person, great staff, was very understanding of my attitude as an athlete and wanted to get me back as soon as possible (within reason). Would recommend 100%.

Awesome staff at the Glen Burnie office! Dr. Rue performed knee arthroscopy in October 2020 to repair my meniscus, he was wonderful explaining everything before and after surgery and following up with me to answer any questions. His PA Brittany is equally amazing and great at listening to patients concerns and helping me along the way. And lastly, shoutout to Lainey at the front desk who seriously holds down the fort; I feel like I’ve called her so many times over the past year for help with all the different paperwork for FMLA, disability, etc. and she is always very patient and does everything she can for the patients. Awesome crew, thank you guys for everything!
