Frequented M&M for five yrs. Miss Kathi is a sweetheart and the staff were always very nice and very helpful. I agree that the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
I LOVE this office. Meghan and Kass are a godsend. Truly incredible ladies who care about their patients and how they feel.
Unfortunately I have seen a couple different psychiatrist at this facility, and none of them seem to actually listen or care. They push medications on you that you have explained you have already tried and have had no success. They are more worried about the paper work they have to fill out in order to get you on the right medications and have commented about how they don’t want to be “on anyone’s radar” for prescribing medications that are necessary in certain situations. If you are doing your job and assessing the patients mental health and they would benefit with certain medications, there is no reason you would have any issues prescribing the right medication and doses. I have done my best to advocate for myself and pleaded for help. When you express your concerns about how they do not seem to understand or listen, they get defensive and make you feel awful and try to blame it on the guidelines they must follow, even though all guidelines have been followed, they still do not want to bother with having to file paperwork to explain why other medications are necessary. I do not feel these psychiatrist are sympathetic or helpful in any way and would not recommend anyone to this facility. My mental health has ultimately declined drastically due to the neglect of their responsibilities as professional health care providers.
No one here actually cares about Mental Health. The therapist (I believe her name was Megan) I only saw twice before stopping. The first appointment with her I arrived early and sat in the waiting room till almost 15 mins past my appointment time and she blamed the computer system. Maybe if she got up and walked out to the waiting room, because she knew she had a patient, then it wouldn't have wasted my time. My whole appt she watched the clock on the wall. It was noticeable and made me very uncomfortable. At that first appt I was very direct with what I was looking for from therapy so at my next appointment I expected us to just get to work. Nope. At my second appt she also watched the clock and asked unnecessary questions that wasted my appt time. Both appts I was under the impression they were 1 hr sessions but instead was told they were 45 mins which is fine but she ended them at about 30 mins so she could "walk me up front to schedule my next appt". I was desperately looking for therapy for a specific reason and was not in a good place at that point in time which I discussed with her. She only wanted to see me every 2 weeks which blew my mind because I felt I needed twice a week! I just don't understand. Terrible patient care especially after I felt I really expressed my need for help. In no way did she act like I was more than just her next paycheck. As for the psych NP (Kassandra) I saw for medication management. I went along with her diagnosis and med plan. She wasn't the friendliest and came off pretty cold actually. I knew the medications were not safe for pregnancy and that I would eventually need to stop when/if I became pregnant. Well I did become pregnant and I reached out immediately for guidance. Her guidance was to just stop taking them. Cold turkey. So I did and I went downhill bad! I was trying hard to wait until my first OB appt but could not wait! I was having auras and my anxiety was so severe I could barely function. Come to find out some of the medications I was taking should NOT be abruptly stopped and almost caused me to have a seizure (which I have history of and the OB I spoke to could NOT believe she did this to me saying it was not safe). The medication I took for anxiety, which she REFUSED to sign for a 90 day supply so my insurance could cover it, is actually one of the safest to take while pregnant for anxiety/blood pressure (according to my OB). I ended up paying the pharmacy out of pocket for it ($6) because I was having panic attacks (which cant possibly be safer for pregnancy). When I finally received a call from my OB she sent a new prescription right away. Terrible patient care. If you are going to be prescribing medication for people with mental health issues then maybe you should be educated in pregnant people with mental health issues. Just avoid this place.
They never return phone calls or answer the phone. What's the point of being open if you don't answer the phone?
Review is solely based on no returned calls. I was referral and reached out on 3 different occasions (yes different times). Never had the chance to speak with anyone nor did I receive a returned call from voicemails left. If anyone has a referral for an establishment who can assist with a second opinion for a mental health evaluation, please advise.
First appointment today. My husband and I went in the wrong door. I signed in and we waited. A guy came in and asked what he could help us with. He then let us know we needed to go to the next door. When we went in the other office EVERYONE!! and I literally mean EVERY person that worked there was friendly and positive. The therapist that I have is Penny. She’s so great!! I’ve been to many therapists and haven’t found one like her. Although this was my first appointment I really felt comfortable with her. I read most of the reviews on Google and I can’t say that I could agree with them because I didn’t experience anything negative that they have. Not saying that the other people are wrong but the only thing that somewhat disappointed me was that I didn’t get to see any chickens. Hopefully other people can see past the bad reviews and give this place a chance. We all need to work on ourselves. It takes the right person to help others and you never know what therapist is gonna be the one that helps you change for the better. Sometimes you just gotta try different ones to get with the right one. Don’t give up on yourself Keep trying!!
I’ve been coming here since they were in the old building and I love this place! I used to see Dustin before he moved on, and I found another amazing therapist after him. She’s absolutely wonderful and actually listens to me and cares about me. She even has a therapy cat that she brings into the office. I see a lot of comments about bringing in the chicken or dogs into the office, but they are therapy animals. And I personally loved it. I loved the experience of petting the chicken, or having my emotional support dog being able to interact with other animals there, since I would bring him before the office closed because of covid. The front desk staff has always been nothing but kind and professional. Every once in a while I see someone new in there and they aren’t that kind, but after a few times of dealing with them, they seem to disappear. I’m assuming they got let go because of the bad attitude. But Danni (sorry if it’s spelled wrong) at the front desk has always been amazing to me. She’s so sweet and adorable and extremely helpful. She’s like, the backbone of the front desk staff. In my opinion, this is the best therapy office that I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been in therapy for about 15 years now in two different states. M&M has helped me so much over the past 3-4 years I’ve been going there, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
