Back in 2018 I needed Cataract Surgery,my brother recommended Dr. Tarantino, he did a great job & has been taking care of my eyes every since. He and his team are currently monitoring my Glaucoma due to Diabetes, very friendly & informative.
I missed my last appointment because I wasn’t notified that I had an appointment . I am being charged 40 dollars for a missed notification. How much money does the doctor lose when a patient stops seeing this doctor? It has to be more than 40 dollars.
Not at all 5 stars!!!! I specifically asked to see Dr torintino but that was not the case. I was taken to a room with 2 Young ladies NO Doctor. They put 2 different sets of drops in both of my eyes the first one was extremely sticky and a little burning sensation it was hard for me to open my eyes and very blurry .The second was was not as bad. They said I had good vision but I I did have to strain a little to clearly see the numbers and and alphabet. After I got home my eye hurt and I had never felt pain in the eye socket area and forehead after an eye exam . I wondered and continued to feel that for a long time thinking it would go away till one day I was at work at my job as a cashier in a Dept store and a young man approximately 30 years old came to my register to pay for his young girls clothes and out of the Blue as I was scanning his merchandise he said My Eyes Hurt ?!?! I said mine do too. I said who tested your eyes and he said Dr Torintino's office . I said Dr,, Torintino on Quarterfield Rd in Glen Burnie ? He said yes, . I said that's where I went . Then asked Dr Torintino Do your eye test ? he said no these 2 young girls did my exam and that's exactly who did my exam that was scheduled specifically for Dr Torintino. We both thought that was Odd but I had a line of people in line to cash out and that was that .. Sad that happened to both of us and I still have a problem with blurry vision . Make sure you get the person you set an appt with. I'm not sure what I'm gonna to do about the situation yet it's been over 3 month's and still have at times blurred vision and eye sockets still feel Wired ?? Any thoughts ??
I am a patient of Dr. Paul Tarantino and in August of 2017, he diagnosed me with Dry Macular Degeneration. As I wished to pursue getting new eyeglasses from his optical department and that I need an updated RX for said eyeglasses, I telephoned his office on April 2, 2018 to make an appointment. The person answering the phone on April 2, 2018, said "I will call you tomorrow to schedule the appointment." That never happened. I called on April 12, 2018, asking why I was never called back as promised. I told the staffer who picked up the phone on the 12th that their customer service was terrible. She seems unphased. She said "You already have an appointment." I said "I know that and that is for my annual visit. I had told you on the 2nd of April that I, a patient with Macular Degeneration, would like to get an appointment right away for a new RX for eyeglasses from Dr. Tarantino so that I may purchase them from your in-house optical department." I was taken aback by the careless manner of Dr. Paul A. Tarantino's staff. They need to get up to speed on customer service or if they do not, they should BE TERMINATED FROM EMPLOYMENT!
I was told there is something wrong with my optic nerves and asked how does that happen, he doesn't know. I am going somewhere wlse

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
