Phoenix Health Center's Online Review Report Card

First and foremost I'd like to say,AS WITH ANYTHING you do, ANYWHERE you go, no two people are going to have the EXACT same experience. Some will be good,some bad,some indifferent. So many variables play into someone's road to recovery,so I'm begging ★ANYONE★ considering taking this path, please do not make your decision based on things you read. Roll the dice on this place,the men and women that work here. Because they CARE...GENUINELY,DEEPLY,CARE. Alot of negative comments come from those who don't want to follow the rules,and want to place the blame elsewhere. I've been working with different staff members for the past 5plus yrs with my recovery journey,and I know I have someone to turn to that will help me regardless of what is going on with,or around me. From the receptionists,to the dosing nurses,to the counselors,to Kathy Bishop and the Drs. You can't dismiss the rules they have when coming through there and expect to get EXACTLY what you want. It's what YOU make it,and it's what YOU WANT TO GET OUT OF IT. I , personally, am so deeply grateful. ESPECIALLY to Stacie G. , Kathy Bishop , Renee-Pam&Rose and Dr Farrah ❣️

I've been going to Phoenix since the day they opened. I know I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the staff at Phoenix. They gave me the tools and knowledge necessary to help me save my own life. Phoenix can and will help anyone who is willing to help themselves. If your ready to put in the work to get your life together this is the place. They take most insurance and have more than convenient hours. The staff is completely non judgemental. You WILL NOT be treated like a junkie. You WILL BE treated with dignity and respect. These are kind people that really just want to help you. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

Phoenix has changed my life around. I have learned here Alot. I take my treatment serious!!! I do love my Counselor. This is a great facility to come to . They have a lot of groups to go to. It’s neat that they have Bingo n cooking Groups. You have to have 5 units for the month with a negative Drug Test. (5 units is 2 1/2 hrs of groups a month) I had 6 units last month.I just received my take home. You can do what u want if u put your mind to it. You got to be ready!!!!! They don’t give up on u here at All! I love Ms Stacie:-) She is so sweet n straight up but yet laid back. That means she’s a Great person . I give this place a 5 STAR!!!!!!!

If you have an appointment with Doctor Farrah (especially for Mental Health) then you Definitely need to plan on waiting AT LEAST 3 hours....if not All Damn Day!!! 😒 Seriously- Not Exaggerating!!!!Other than that- No Complaints! For the most part, the Staff there is Awesome- it's a small cozy typa clinic so you get Detailed & Personalized Care instead of just being "Another Number"

This place is not a healthcare facility. It's a legal drug house. They don't care about patients. They care about securing money from the insurance companies. Keeping people on methadone for 5 years and upwards of that is not a treatment plan. Increasing doses until it's impossible to get off of the methadone they provide, is not a treatment plan. Recommending the most addiction option when someone comes in requesting a different option, is not a treatment plan. Patients see the doctor once a year, and are rarely ever tested for substance use while in "treatment". There is no therapy or counseling taking place. This place shouldn't even be open. It's operation is unethical and only contributing to the opiate epidemic. All so Dr. Farah can roll around in cash he earns from ruining lives and destroying families.

Dr. Farah runs a great practice and clinic. He's a great doctor, and I highly recommend if you need treatment.

I have read previous reviews and will say that as with any treatment centers you get out what you are willing to put in.

I have been going for 2 years and the doctor sets appointments i dont why because he picks certain people that can just come when ever they want and go in front of you what kind of health center are they running its not right that they act like my time dont matter if they set appointment times then they should go by the times they set i pay cash money every time i go how much do i need to pay to be put on this VIP list

Man, Hagerstown is a f'ed up spot. Never seen so many younger white people homeless and addicted. Had to get outta there but ms Anne, awesome. The nurses were awesome too. This is the only program where I could choose, depending on my dose I could take wafers, or also sugar free which tastes like... Beats shooting smack!
