Yubaraj Bhandari's Online Review Report Card

Dr Bhandari is professional, polite, has kept me stable, and adjusted my medication as needed. He supports working with a therapist for the other half of my care and does fantastic with medication management.

Let me begin this review by saying that the staff in this front office is wonderful. Very compassionate and helpful.However, I cannot say the same for Dr. Bhandari. My brief experience with him was not a good one. I was struggling with depression during the pandemic and was hoping he would help me with medication management. My appointments with him were normal very brief and non-helpful. My wife would even joke with me that I would only need 5-10 minutes for the appointment! After he tried two different medications (both of which did not work for me) he pretty much threw up his hands and said, "You can keep taking your medication if you want and I suggest cognitive therapy." I was shocked. I was supposed to decide if I wanted to take the medication? Isn't that what I was paying him for? To assess if I needed it or not? There was no follow-up after that and no effort to contact me to see how I was doing. I was not an easy case and he, therefore, had no time for me.I was very disappointed because I had really worked to get into this office. If you are looking for quick and impersonal medication management, you may benefit from him. But if you are looking for real advice and patient, compassionate care, I would encourage you to look elsewhere.
