This doctor Bosch me up pretty bad several years ago.In and out surgeryI had hemorrhage 2 hours After my procedure With In12 hoursI was in an ambulance For hemorrhaging My diagnosis was Severe sepsis Doctor's office was called several times with no returnI was in the hospital for 10 days doctor never called never called came by Never apologized..I never got over his eraI will hate this doctor for the rest of my lifeAnd I hope I never run into him
I saw Dr. Davalos because of a large kidney stone. He explained the procedure to me, he was very patient and took his time and answered all my questions. At the conclusion of my visit, when we were parting he said, "I will take good care of you." He was very sincere and reassuring. My surgery went great, the nurses, the anesthesiologist and the surgery team were very professional. The surgery suite is very modern and the team is well acquainted with the surgical procedure. I would recommend to anyone that Dr. Davalos is personable, professional and the BEST choice for large kidney stone surgery!
I had a very large kidney stone. As I reviewed where to go to get it removed, I found the description of Dr. Davalos ambulatory surgery for large stones. My experience was 10 out of 10. The doctor, the surgery suite and the staff are all top notch. My surgery was a complete success. I drove 120 miles to be seen by Dr. Davalos, it was definitely worth it, I give him my highest recommendation.
My sister at 24 years old have been battling an infection for almost a year now, six weeks ago she was scheduled with Davalos to have a kidney stone removed, instead he put in a stent and claims he never found a stone. He told us 4 weeks with the stent and he still hasn’t called or scheduled to remove it or even to schedule an appointment to see how she’s progressing. She has been to the ER twice for fevers caused by infection. She is being admitted again today for a midline because her body is now resistant to all other antibiotics. When we call he refuses our calls and tells his employees to tell us he will call when he’s scheduled the removal. He spoke to her ONCE since the surgery and was very aggressive and dismissive, saying “I already told you this is a side effect of the stent”. An infection that put her in danger of sepsis is a side effect of a stent??? This person is dangerous and should not be allowed to have anyone in his care.
My daughter has been suffering from fevers and pain since he performed surgery last month and has not been able to get an appointment with him. When she calls his office to let him know she’s having a bad reaction to the procedure he performed, she gets told to go to the ER. He has not called to check on her even after she alerted him of her emergency visits. We had to get another doctor to prescribe antibiotics because he’s too busy or careless. We’ve been forced to find another doctor to look into her case because of his negligence. One of her ER visits she was in sepsis, it’s become a life threatening issue and he’s unavailable.
Every time I just happen to deal with their staff it is just terrible and it makes the doctor really look poor. Just a follow up on my antibiotic medication is an issue in itself with supporting staff to provide adequate assistance for post-surgery care
wonderful service
Yup. Cost me bunch of pain, about 3 weeks more than necessary and an extra emergency room visit. Didn't read his own report - didn't act on it. If he gets pushed, immature, defensive, very un-doctor like.
Poor follow-up and, by my estimation, sloppy and uncaring when challenged. Very defensive and dismissive. My wife and me have had medical issues so are not newbies to the whole process, and have never experienced what this guy put me through. Let the fact I am not including more details speak volumes about how I feel. Left me hanging. I now seeking another urologist to get away from this guy.
I went to Dr. Davalos with kidney stone issues after two surgeries with a different local urologist where not only were my stones not successfully removed but actually made worse by displacing one into a position that caused a severe blockage resulting in a perforated ureter and a nephrostomy tube. Everything from the first contact was top notch. The office staff recognized my need to be seen rapidly ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
