Every time I just happen to deal with their staff it is just terrible and it makes the doctor really look poor. Just a follow up on my antibiotic medication is an issue in itself with supporting staff to provide adequate assistance for post-surgery care
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
Yup. Cost me bunch of pain, about 3 weeks more than necessary and an extra emergency room visit. Didn't read his own report - didn't act on it. If he gets pushed, immature, defensive, very un-doctor like.
Misleading. I recommend looking elsewhere.
wonderful service
I went to Dr. Davalos with kidney stone issues after two surgeries with a different local urologist where not only were my stones not successfully removed but actually made worse by displacing one into a position that caused a severe blockage resulting in a perforated ureter and a nephrostomy tube. Everything from the first contact was top notch. The office staff recognized my need to be seen rapidly and worked me in. Dr. Davalos performed PCNL surgery in his office surgical suite and I went home the same day stone free! I am a nurse and enthusiastically recommend Dr. Davalos!
Large stone gone as promised, minimal recovery time
Dr. Davalos is an amazing provider. Not only did he do an excellent job on my kidney stone removal he explained everything in detail gave me brochures a video and asked if I had questions (which I did not) he not only care about your treatment but a a person in whole. He is an excellent physician.
My problem isn't with the Dr. at this location. My problem is with the follow up. My wife went in with a Kidney stone blockage and a nephrostomy (catheter going thru her back into her kidney) and they were going to remove them. Just as she went under she had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and had to be rushed to the ER. I was told that they would try to reschedule her for Tuesday before I left to follow the ambulance to the ER. Monday we called numerous times but only reached a voice mail and we left a message every time. My wife called Tuesday with the same results. I called Tuesday about an hour before they closed and started raising my voice about my displeasure with their service. I was passed on to the surgical scheduler and again voiced my displeasure. She stated that she was on vacation and that we should have been notified. She then proceeded to make things right and finally got my wife scheduled to have her procedure done at a hospital. So here is my problem 1. Nobody followed up to ensure that my wife was fine after the reaction to the anesthesia and to ensure that she was good for the follow up procedure. 2. How can their only be 1 person to schedule surgical procedures. 3. How can that person go on vacation and not check her voicemails to see if any patients need something to be scheduled.
I had a tubeless PCNL and ended up spending 8 days in the hospital in pure agony. It was brutal.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
