Dr. Dickstein was condescending and arrogant, at best. He showed no concern for my boyfriend’s future quality of life after his cystectomy. He laughed at my legitimate medical questions, as if our concerns were unimportant, considering our ages (60 and 64). As one who has had many positive interactions with specialists in my life, I was shocked at his callous attitude. As a researcher, I was well informed regarding my boyfriend’s medical situation, so it was obvious Dr. Dickstein was not used to patients asking pertinent questions. Priot to surgery, Dr. Dickstein did not explain the procedure to my boyfriend. I had to request a call from Dr. Dickstein be made to clarify to my boyfriend what was going to be done. Unless you crave arrogance in someone supposed to care for you, seek medical attention elsewhere. Credentials alone are not enough to qualify a doctor!!!

Excellent doctor. I had kidney cancer and he removed the whole left kidney(in 2018 and still cancer free). He left very little scarring. There are some people complaining about his bedside manners, but I never had a problem. He is punctual and likes things done properly, there is nothing wrong with that. I don't need coddling, I need someone to keep me alive and healthy. In my book Dr. Dickstein is the best and I would highly recommend him.

Would not ever recommend Dr Dickstein to another patient. I found him a bit egotistical and his bedside manner rates a 0.
