Lorien Bulle Rock's Online Review Report Card

My mother received treatment for a rehab after a foot surgery and I was very happy with the care she was given by all staff. This is a really good place I would recommend if you have a family member who needs care.

I Have Tried To Get A Hold Of The Hiring Manager And She Never Answers The Phone! Why Post The Job If You Aren't Going To Answers Peoples Calls.

Have had a family member there for several months. The saying don't judge a book by its cover really applies here. From the outside, a fabulous place but that's where it ends. They have and continue to drop the ball on all aspects of care giving. A lot comes from being short staffed, but in the end the patient suffers. Management has continued to ignore requests and never returns phone calls when contacted. Not sure where to go from hear, but will be contacting the state with all concerns which are too many to list.

First impressions were that Lorien Bulle Rock was clean and well maintained. I had my husband transferred here from another rehab that was absolutely filthy and run down. He had back surgery and it was felt that he would benefit from therapy in a rehab center. The first few days went well, but the weekend went straight downhill. After speaking to my husband on the phone, he wasn’t making much sense. I got there to find him in bed, unresponsive. I ran out to find one of the techs to find out when he was last checked on and if they had taken his blood pressure. He told me he looked in on him, but he was sleeping so he didn’t take his pressure. I asked where his nurse was and he pointed down the hallway. I ran down and explained that he had been dehydrated and his blood pressure would drop significantly, could she please come check. She smiled and told me that she was not HIS nurse, she was at the other end of the hallway. I could not believe it! I ran down to find his nurse and I felt that everyone’s reactions were very slow. I asked that an ambulance be called and was told that they needed to talk to his doctor first. It felt like no one was reacting until my step daughter showed up in her police uniform before the call was made. He was transported to the hospital where they found him so dehydrated that his kidneys had shut down. On top of that, Bulle Rock had given him pain medication earlier that nearly overdosed him because his kidneys could not process them. He spent a week in the hospital recovering and begged me not to send him back. I’ve made several attempts to call the admissions director to talk about what happened, but have never received a call back. If you decide to leave someone here, make sure you keep a close eye on them, especially on the weekends when they seem to have a skeleton crew.

Very nice and clean facility. The nurses, GNAs and front desk staff are wonderful! The PT & OT Staff are top notch! The Admissions Administrator is on top of her game. Last but not least my Moms Social Worker has been great to work with.

Most of the staff are awesome but because they seem under staff the resident care semm to have suffered lately. Important follow up care and documentation needs to improve. The food sometime okay but mostly not so great.

Friendly helpful staff. I was unfamiliar with the area and called the front desk or directions. The staff stayed on the phone with me until I was Able to pull up into their parking lot, that was a first for me from a customer service standpoint. Great job Lorien Bulle Rock staff.

I have been employed with Lorien Health Systems at Bulle Rock for a little over 4 years, yet I have been serving the senior community for 26 years. Three years ago I purchased a little 7 lb. friend named Harley that I believe my residents love more then me. Our rehabilitation dept is awesome. Dietary is always striving to meet the needs of our ever changing population of short and LTC residents. I may be a bit partial considering I am the Director of Activities, yet as a team the staff challenges themselves to be creative and to listen for the needs of our residents. Our Nurses and GNA's go above and beyond to serve our resident. Team work makes the dream work. As a family we do our very best to provide quality of life and care to the resident that have been in trusted in our care. I am proud to say that I am employee at Lorien Bulle Rock. The employees are wonderful, polite and friendly, the facility is clean, and the level of care is exceptional. The facility's nursing team is clinically advanced and they really understand the patients and their needs. I highly recommend this facility!

I've been employed with Lorien Bulle Rock for just shy of five years now. My experience with the facility has been what I can only describe as stellar. From the quality of our state of the art facility to the quality of care that our staff provides for our residents, Lorien Bulle Rock has never failed to impress me. I'd be thrilled for any one of my beloved relatives to receive any care or comfort they may need right here.
