List of Atul Rasiklal Shah's Reviews
Dr. Shah is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me on so many occasions. He is very fast which I appreciate and I know is very up to date on the latest medical advances and treatments. I am very grateful for his expertise and care.
He seemed super busy and like he wasn't too focused on our appointment. He seemed like he wasn't all that interested and positive. Wasn't very hopeful to find answers for me
Dr. Atul Shah's office is VERY unprofessional. Firstly, there's no way to speak to a receptionist for his specific practice because calls to his office go to a call center and the call center has no knowledge of your situation. Who reroutes calls to prevent you from speaking to the office that's providing the service? Called to confirm an appointment; call center had no record, but then I was told the appointment had been cancelled. Never received a cancellation notification. If I hadn't called, I would've never known. That is NOT how you do business. If you're looking for professionalism, this is NOT the place to find it. Take your health insurance elsewhere.
The black woman working the front desk today was incredibly rude. Like an extra special, ridiculous rude. The way she speaks to people, her attitude, and her choice of words was highly inappropriate for a medical office. She wasn't even dressed appropriately for a medical office. She raised her voice, gave sharp attitude, lacked attention to detail, and absolutely made this practice look terrible.

Bad communicator, Bad bad-side manner, No compassion, Very quick to bill you!
Hi front desk workers is unprofessional, rude and not compassionate at all. I will not be returning to him. I had to wait extra 2 hours because the front desk never check me in after I signed in 1 hour and 30 minutes early. What a MESS! ??. I said something to Dr. Shah about the mixup and he going to say maybe they don’t like you. ??. I never been rude or disrespectful to him or his staff and I told him that. NO RESPONSE at all. He could least said I will talk to my staff and I’m sorry you had to wait that long and it won’t happen again. NOTHING!! I’m not going to pay my money where I’m not treated with RESPECT. I forgive them all and I’m moving on finding another doctor. They better get their acts together before he won’t have any patients. God bless them all. ????????????????
When I first started seeing him he seemed withdrawn and almost uninterested with me and my condition. After a few appointments and problems with receiving my meds he went above and beyond. I feel like he is shy and just needs to get to know his patients.
First time appointment. Arrived at 1:05 PM for a 1:30 PM appointment. Check in was smooth. About 1:20 PM was taken back for vitals and was in the exam room no later than 1:30 PM. At 2:10 PM I got up to leave. No one bothered to stop in to say the doctor was running late but rather left me to sit and stare at the walls wasting time. I found the nurse to be sitting in a room across from the exam room I was in so asked her which was the way out and that I was leaving. She said the doctor would be right in so I reminded her I had a 1:30 PM appointment and was leaving. The doctor was sitting in the room next to my exam room and tried to get me to stay but my limit for waiting had been exceeded. Iâ??m appalled the staff has so little regard for patients that they donâ??t bother to keep patients informed of delays. A little courtesy goes a long ways for establishing patient relationships. I for one have better things to do with the time I take off from work than to sit in an empty room and ignored. This might be acceptable for others but it's unacceptable for me especially for a first experience with this office.
Rude Rude Rude! I walked out of this office today, never to return. I assume that what he does, he does well. However, there is more to a patients needs. 45 min.wait in waiting rm/15 min wait in examination rm. I was dealing with this fine until three minutes into visit he answered a personnal call on his cell and proceeded to talk for 5 min's (in Indian) until I walked out! I was simply there for results from a routine colonosopy. 5 min's was all I needed and he could'nt give me that respect?! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR!! And I will not ignore these ratings again. Dr Rhodes is who I will follow up with from this point. Unfortunately my insurance will have to pay for this visit.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
