Raymond Moy's Online Review Report Card

My son has been a patient of Dr. Moy's for over a year. Our most recent visit will be our last. He is so concerned about lead in the house after I've explained many times there isn't any. Yet he isn't concerned at all about the high lead levels in toddler/baby snacks & food. He never talks about nutrition or anything of importance & has been quick to call my son " borderline autistic" so he can refer him to a program. ( which either he gets extra $$ for or a colleague of his ) same with vaccines! He doesn't seem to understand children at all! Not to mention he has medical assistants that can't even handle taking measurements & he had to frequently redo them which aggravated my son & made him upset & when you care about your child's comfort he teases you for it. AVOID!

Dr Moy is great, he is very straightforward and conservative in his treatment approach. I feel like nothing rattles him and he always gives sound advice. Personally I think he is a little old school in some of his recommendations, but I know he won’t prescribe antibiotics too readily or put my child on medications they don’t need which I appreciate

All three of my adult children had him for a pediatrician. Excellent staffing and medical staff. Traveled from another state to maintain care with him. Wife is wonderful too!

My child was shy and scared to talk to him.

The biggest thing for me is the level of trust I feel for a doctors decisions, especially ones concerning my children. I have never, not once, questioned Dr. Moy's decisions or conclusions. He always seems to know right away what is wrong and how to make it better. I have a lot of respect for this doctor and think he is a great physician.

Dr. Moy is very kind and always answers questions well, but the front office staff is UTTERLY INCOMPETENT. Really quite a shame, because the medical service is fine. Making an appointment or asking for records is almost impossible due to the office staff's complete lack of ability to answer phones or take messages. There are a few exceptions, my my experience had been frustrating overall.

I would not recommend Dr. Moy. He always seems rushed and actually appears to be uncomfortable with kids. Does not interact with my girls at all, laughs nervously when they try to joke with him.

I started taking my son to see Dr. Moy six years ago. I just recently had another baby and take him to Dr. Moy as well. I couldn't be any happier with the care that Dr. Moy gives my boys. He use to call and check in on us on Saturdays because my first son had stomach problems. He shows care and concern. His bedside manner with the boys is amazing. Hes patient, kind, and caring.

The worst Doctors office ever. i called to make an appointment for my daughter and was hold hold for over 30mins. The ladies up at the front desk are very rude. They choose the people they like and the others they treat like crap. They are very rude to me but when my brothers goes to take his kids they treat him very well. I been taking my daughter there since she was born so 11 years. When i first started taking her to Dr. Moy i love the place i felt very comfortable. Now i don't trust the nurses or the Doctor.  Dr. Moy told me my daughter had Chicken Pox. She had the shot and yes i know she could still have gotten it but i did a lot of research and had someone else look at it. Come to find out it was just a bad flare up of her eczema. She missed her class trip because he misdiagnosed her. Please parents take the time to find a better doctor. I found another doctor for me daughter, please everyone do the same. (Ms. Tolle)

I'm only giving Dr. Moy two stars instead of one because he is so pleasant. It's the rest of the staff that gives this place a bad name. I've taken my son there two times and each visit I left frustrated and ticked off with the front desk. They are rude, condescending, and unprofessional. One staff member made a personal phone call before helping me. When I made the decision to switch to another pediatrician, they made me come in to sign off on transferring my son's records even though I expressed that it was going to be inconvenient; couldn't I just do it over the phone? So I went before seeing our new doctor, telling them I had to be at the appointment in 30 minutes. Well they tried to charge me for the records and then made me wait 25 minutes, eventually telling me that the person who prints the records out is out to lunch. So I leave without the records and I'm late for our appt. When I arrive at the new doctor, they said they would try getting the records while the doctor starts the exam. We wait, and wait, and still Dr. Moy's office hasn't sent the shot records. So the new doctor has to guess at what immunizations my son is due for so we can finish with the exam. Dr. Moy's staff is completely useless and its a shame because I believe he is a good physician.
