Waited 2 hours for her to call, only to tell me she was cutting my Tramadol, despite the fact it really wasn’t working as it was. On the one hand she acknowledges my pain but that’s not material. My treatment plan is becoming divorced from reality.

I love Dr. Williams-Sharron. She, truly listen to her patients and explains to us of any plans, to better our medical issues. She's very, very kind doctor who doesn't give up on her patients. If I know anyone who needs care in relation to the Spine, I'd definitely recommend her to them. I, appreciate her, and her medical technology she administers.

Dr Williams is a soft spoken doctor who tell me my problem. She really work with me about my health problem. I would recommend Dr. Williams to any on who need pain management.

I don't usually write reviews but in this instance I feel compelled to - just to save someone from the aggravation, the time, the money (co-pay) and sub par "care" you will receive from Dr. Williams. In terms of bedside manner, Dr. Williams is disingenuous, suspicious and unhelpful. When I met with her, I explained why I left my previous pain management clinic. In one of her responses to me, she suggested that I might get a back brace. I told her that I already had one but didn't get instructions on how to use it. I asked her if I could bring it in and get instructions from her on how to use it properly because I was not sure. Well, she told me to go back to the other clinic to get instructions. She said - there are so many different kinds of braces, she wouldn't know how it worked unless her office had ordered it. Really? That was my first red flag. My first appointment ended rather abruptly and Williams said needed records from my last PM office (according to her, to corroborate my story) before she could prescribe me anything. I was a bit taken aback but I had been trying so hard to find a good pain doc who could help me ease my pain and who was nearby because driving causes me pain. I suppose a little desperation can cause one to overlook obvious deficiencies. Dr. Williams never asked me what I wanted or what my long term goals were. She never offered any solutions or recommendations outside of the back brace she refused to help me with. She gave me an order to get an MRI and said I could come back in a week after they received my records from my last PM doc. At my second appointment I saw the doctor and she asked me if I had my MRI. I told her I had not gotten it yet. She then told me that she couldn't prescribe me anything other than a non-narcotic because she hadn't received all of my records and she needed my MRI. I asked her why she hadn't made me aware of that before having me come in, pay a co-pay and charge my insurance. She said that the front desk staff are not doctors so they would not know to tell me that my records were missing. One does not have to be a doctor to extend common courtesy and not waste people's time. And how hard is it to be upfront with your patient in terms of what you require for certain kinds of pain medications? Then, she says she needs the MRI first to see if I actually need the medication. I'd like to point out that I brought her a report as well as the discs from an MRI I had received a year prior. Then, she tells me she will prescribe me a non opioid that I've actually taken before and caused me severe headaches. A medication that, if she bothered to look up in the "personalized care" she claims to offer, she would have known that I absolutely should not take that medication with the neurological condition that I have. What she did was comparable to recommending a diet of sugary sweets to a diabetic. My previous medical records showed that the medication had already been prescribed by my Neurologist and that I had discontinued due to negative side effects. This doctor was rude as she had no hesitation in telling me that my pain wasn’t real. She seems to be more interested in getting as many health insurance claims and co-pays as she can instead of actually helping chronic pain patients. I‘ve seen one pain management doctor when I was in the hospital and three others on the outside and Dr. Williams is by far the worst in competency, actual knowledge about pain/treating pain and bedside manner.
