Dr. Ahmed failed to provide timely and effective support to my father, a chronic dialysis dependent diabetic who presented with a wounded toe. Despite repeated complaints of pain, discoloration and odor, Dr. Ahmed failed to return my and my father’s increasingly urgent calls and emails and ultimately referred my dad to another physician on a non-urgent basis. Two days before my dad was able to get an appointment with the new doctor, my father was rushed to the hospital with gangrene in two of his toes that had entered his blood stream. He underwent an emergency below that knee amputation. Dr. Ahmed has never even contacted my father after the amputation.

Communicates in a voice whisper and had to seek additional information from the nurse additional. My procedure went great but the healing not so well and a second procedure had to be performed to clear up the first procedure.

Very soft spoken. Dr. Ahmad is very professional; however, his staff could use some work. Forgotten phone calls to insurance carrier for pre-certifications, and I had to call them to get results of tests. His staff did not call me. Expect this from his staff since he is busy with surgeries, etc. Not all his staff, but two in particular...the one you first see upon arriving. If I didn't like this doctor so much I would seek another because of his staff.
