I do not recommend Dr Shetty to anyone. EKG's are automatically performed on me but never addressed or discussed. A money maker and insurance "rip off". He is very disrepectful, unprofessional, and lacks sensitivity and maturity. His bedside manner "SUCKS"! He had a temper tamtrum, with drama queen animation during my visit. I am a 72 year old female, and was there for an appt made by nurse Lady. I needed to see his colleague, Rostogi. That did not happen. An undeserved copay was collected. Shetty talked down to me like I was 2 yrs old and refused to address the reason for nurse Lady setting up the appt. I had not seen him since 2014 and did not ever want see him again, but Capital Cardiology apparently requires a patient to remain with initial doctors, regardless of the relationship. Again, I do not recommend this medical organization to anyone.

From The Desk of Gregory Markomanolakis In the 7+ years I've been seeing Dr. Shetty; in the beginning Dr Shetty provided outstanding service for me in my current heart health condition. Over the years though I feel Dr. Shetty has grown less and less concerned for my overall condition and with me as his patient. The last several appointments, I have repeatedly had to wait over one hour to be seen by him irregardless of promises made by his assistant claiming I was next to be seen by him, I understand that doctors have busy case loads and sometimes appointments are delayed, but every appointment in the last 18 months I have made I have had to continually wait. I feel as though with Dr. Shetty's current case load I am more of a burden to him and feel he hasn't provided the consideration and respect we all seek when we put our trust and confidence in him as a physician. If you decide to be seen by Dr. Shetty I hope you recieve good service and a positive experience.

I feel he did unnecessary tests thus wasting too much time in my getting a colonoscopy.Things turned out OK, but we are both lucky 2 months delay didn't result in a bad result. Thats just my 2 cents. I certainly won't go back there.

This doctor was often rude and obnoxious. Did not hear or listen to the patient's point of view. This doctor needs to work on his bedside manners and patient support. I would recommend seeing another cardiologist that respects his patients.
