I have been going to Dr. Bedeau for decades and what i most like is his ability to bypass the bs and get right to the point. He is very blunt, but does it with tact and respect. My mother's last gastroenterologist almost let her bleed out after a colonoscopy, so i sent her to Dr. Bedeau and we have never had a problem with anymore of her colonoscopies since!

He didn't do anything to help me once he heard that I anxiety. I had to find another doctor who was able to diagnose me after Dr. Bedeau gave up. Just try someone else first.

Doesn't appear to fully accept assignments per insurance requirements. Not that you will be on your own negotiating charges and prices with the facilities that he practices at that don't accept your primary or secondary insurances fully. He and his staff may tell you that his facility of choice is covered, and in our case, "is the only facility approved by your insurance." Only to later discover his facility is out of network. Doesn't mind staffing his patients with the out of network bills. Looking at the reviews below, it has happened to countless others.

Dr. Bedeau has HORRIBLE beside manners. He's extremely rude, callous and needs to take an customer service training. None of my issues were resolve. I had to force him to get an endoscopy. On that he found a hernia and gastritis. Both in which i had to force him to provide medication. The front desk staff is just as bad. They have attitudes and act as if calling to get an updates disturbs them.

Dr. John Bedeau is a great, caring and awesome doctor, one who you would want to take care of you.

My initial appointment went well, but the follow up has been lackluster to say the least. It's been more two weeks and I have yet to receive a referral to see a specialist. His staff is not helpful at all. Look for another doctor if you need to get attention you need. Don't waste you time/money.
