List of Brad H. Norman's Reviews
When my nurse went to update Dr. Norman on the medication I was one, which prevented me from getting an epidural, he interrupted her to turn to me and say "you're going to have to suck it up". I was too busy breathing through a contraction to say what i wanted to say to him, but talk about crass! Luckily, this wasn't new information to me, so I was mentally prepared to not receive an epidural. I was not, however, mentally prepared for an experienced doc so far removed from what this experience is like that he could even give that type of unnecessary and cold response. This isn't a blood draw... I also felt like he was rough with me during delivery. Overall, it was a traumatic experience. There's a stark difference in the reviews I see of him online. Makes me wonder if the good ones are fake or if his treatment varies greatly between patients.
Dr Norman has been my doctor for over 25 years my he is amazing I relocated down to the Eastern Shore of Md and drive over 2 hours to keep him has my GYN. Over the years he has preformed several operations always caring. and is just the best at what he dose, he is honest and up front I would not change doctors for a million dollars .
He is the best doctor I have ever made in my life
I went in to seek consultation for a recurring issue, not only did Dr. Norman rush me through the appointment, but he offered no insight into the issue, and no course of follow up. I felt like he didn't care at all, and was more concerned with getting through the appointment. I love Capital Women's Care as well as the staff and have been going there for over 10 years, but will never see Dr. Norman again.
Dr Norman is a great doctor. The only thing I don't like is the wait to get in to see him. He is great - easy to talk to and you never feel rushed. (Probably why you have to wait.)
I was apprehensive about having a male OB/GYN, but Dr. Norman is phenomenal!!!!He delivered our first baby....a surprise cesarian due to gestational diabetes. She's perfect and Dr. Norman is very professional, knowledgable and has a GREAT sense of humor. I highly recommend.
went in for a consult for Novasure. He does not, despite what the Novasure website says, do this procedure in his office, he does it at a hospital in Silver Spring, under general anesthesia. He actually said "we use propiphol, like Michael Jackson"... waaa? Not a good reference to put me at ease.
Dr. Norman was the on-call doctor the night that I delivered my 2nd child in 2009 at 36 weeks. I had never seen him before, and I was extremely put off by his bedside manner and his callous attitude. He was rude from the moment he responded to the after-hours call to the moment I delivered. He seemed unfamiliar with my medical history, he questioned my preferences and my wishes, and he let the nurses handle all but the last 5 minutes of my screamingly painful, too-quick-for-epidural labor. Far from being any comfort, he was flippant about the pain and was almost was mocking me as I tried to scream my way through it. His behavior was appalling just on its own, but even more glaringly so because the other doctors in the practice have always treated me with such care and kindness. I am very surprised to see so many people writing here about how good his bedside manner is. In my opinion there is no excuse for how coldly he treated me.
I have been a patient of Dr. Norman's for 15 years. He is so great. A lot of women don't want to see a man for their OB/GYN, they are really missing out out on a great doctor with a wonderful bedside manner by not considering him.
excellent experience

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
