I was on my period so I did not want a physical exam, which he was very annoyed with me for and pushy about, which made me extremely uncomfortable. He also responded to my questions sarcastically like I was stupid, and was almost an hour late, making me miss a later appointment. I will not be going back, and I recommend anyone interested in finding a warm and respectful OB/GYN to look for someone else.

I came in as a referral from my primary care provider to do an evaluation and treatment for my journey as a transgender woman. Thank you Dr. Ashkin very much

Dr. Ashkin is friendly and patient. He did an excellent job providing me with good care from 34 weeks of pregnancy through 40 weeks. Regardless of my age(40), he created a tailored birth plan which allowed me to deliver naturally without any complications. He also circumcised my son, and it was well done. I highly recommend him to every woman, whether pregnant or not. He is the best!

Dr Ashkin, is an amazing doctor, he truly cares about the well-being of his patients, i have no words to describe how grateful I am for everything he has done for me! he saved my life during an emergency procedure, and years later with his guidance and medical care throughout my pregnancy , delivered our precious baby girl! absolutely love him and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for the best obgyn.

Dr. Ashkin is very thorough and take the time to listen. If he says he will do follow through after your visit he does it promptly. I always feel like he cares about me as a person as well as my health. He has been my doctor for 17 years and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. He is blunt and will tell you what he's thinking but he's also caring. If you don't like that type of doctor then he's not the one for you. In my opinion there needs to be more doctors like Dr. Ashkin.

Dr.Ashkin is an amazing doctor that always listens to my concerns and needs. He’s goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and properly cared for. I saw each doctor at the practice and nobody compared. I even switched practices and traveled 45 minutes from home just so I could stay with him! He saw me through two high risk pregnancies and delivered both my children without complications. He truly is the best!

I share more than I normally would on a public review to urge women to not avoid a GYN exam due to fear or a bad experience. I am grateful for the referral to this practice. It took me decades to find a GYN who put me at ease as did Dr. Ashkin. In my exam, I did not have the usual pain and anxiety as many times before with other GYNs. Dr. Ashkin actively listened to my worries, understood what to change in the exam to accommodate my preferences and helped me to relax by explaining every step. He was patient. My anxiety melted and he adjusted the exam for my comfort. Plus, he discovered something that no other GYN had, that my bone positioning was slightly different which explained problems that I had for years. We had a candid conversation of options which helped me to feel hope, that a solution would help me to return to normalcy. I thought I'd never say this, but I will gladly schedule my GNY exam next year and only with Dr. Ashkin.

Dr. Ashkin is an excellent doctor with a calm demeanor. During my numerous prenatal visits, Dr. Ashkin took his time to discuss and alleviate my concerns for my first pregnancy. I never felt rushed during my appointments, and always felt like Dr. Ashkin was looking out for me.

Dr. Ashkin is very gentle, and has a great sense of humor. He performed my hysterectomy and I healed beautifully. Highly recommend.

Dr Ashkin has horrible bedside manner, comes off as uninterested and annoyed. Seems to dislike his job and has no real interest in what the patient is concerned about.
