I had a great visit. My hygienist, Taylor, was excellent, she was friendly, quick and informative she talked me through all the processes. The dentist, Dr. Tajik was also amazing and gave me a warm welcome. She was very knowledgeable and highlighted the importance of at home teeth hygiene. She gave recommendations and talked me through the treatment plan she decided on. I will definitely keep coming back here as they have good COVID protocols and staff was superb.

Great experience as always! I've been going here for all of my dental care for at least fifteen years! Everyone is friendly, courteous and professional.

My dental hygienist, Michelle Green, is awesome. We have so much in common. We share the same experiences and she is like a sister from another mother to me. The service is on point and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend this dental practice.

Friendly and Capable, good Covid Protocols.

I’ve been going to this office for over 3 years, and in that time I have referred many people there. After three years, I have to write a review, in hopes it will help someone. First of all, let me be clear the review is not about the dentist. I truly adore Dr. Tajick. She is amazing, personable, patient, and is definitely worthy of being a top ten dentist in Maryland.I left my old dentist, because the billing practices were messy and at times unethical. I remember during my first visit sharing that information to which the hygienist said “That seems to be the common reason as to why others left there.”Here I am, experiencing not one, but now two billing errors that could have been avoided. The only one left paying on this mistake is me.Mistake 1: Dr. Tajick said, I needed a root canal, but she wasn’t certain if it could be done or not. I was then scheduled for a “Consultation”. He looked in my mouth, said yup we can do it today, and proceeded. At the end of that visit, they were expecting over 1K. To which I said, I came in for a consultation please show me the estimate for out of pocket (OOP) expenses. They realized then that one wasn’t done. The dentist “assumed” everything was handled which is why he proceeded. Meanwhile, the solution for that was “Toy we are sorry, the best we can do is allow you to pay when you can” If a dealership or any other place provided an unauthorized service, you know what happens? You eat the cost. Had I been told about the cost, I would have declined and then obtained secondary dental insurance.Mistake 2: My crown fell off. I now required “crown lengthening.” I was told, I would need to come in to get an estimate on this procedure. Fine, that’s good because I need to know what to expect in terms of the bill. Came in for the estimate, it was going to cost over $1100. I have Blue Cross dental and Cigna dental. I purchased another plan after mistake one. The document has two things on it. One is the estimated insurance coverage and the other is my portion owed. My portion owed was $112.00. The cost was great, because I went to get an estimate at Dr. Frey’s office to remove it. His office told me it would be $330.00. As you guessed, I went with this office because the OOP was cheaper.After the crown lengthening procedure was done, Christy in billing asked for $1200. I paused and said wait what? She said $1200 again. I said that’s not right? She said we went over this. I said no we didn’t. Pull up the document I signed. Here was the hidden information. She said, you have Blue Cross, they don’t mail payments to us. I said how was I to know this? It’s not on the estimate. The estimate should have said what you owe at the visit. I told her, getting the tooth pulled would have been cheaper! I went with them because the OOP price was cheaper.When you think things couldn’t get worse. Their office she tells me doesn’t get the full authorization for the procedure. Meaning, they never called my insurance to verify if it was covered! Had I known that, I would have called myself to avoid another mistake made by them. My primary denied the procedure and my secondary will only pay like $50 towards $1200. My insurance company said the dentist is not listed in network at Dr. Tajick’s office, only at her old location. She could be in-network had she resolved this before working at the practice.Now, once again I’m stuck with two big medical bills, that were not my fault. The first time no documentation was given explaining the cost, and now I was expected to know BC doesn’t mail checks. How about I think they realized that it wasn’t covered? In any case, I’m not sure if I can still go here anymore other than just basic 100% covered services like 6 month cleanings. Because I love the dentist. But, the billing department could do better. After my experience I seriously doubt they edited the estimates to show what is truly owed at the visit and more importantly what will the insurance truly cover.

Dr Tajick and Michelle the hygienist are absolutely wonderful! Our family has been going to this practice for dental care since 2005!

This was my second time having Taylor as a hygienist and she does a great job! Very thorough, thoughtful, and professional. She is a great addition to the team at Dr. Tajik's office!!

A loving and caring staff with a very personable experience. They are great with kids, which is a big plus. The receptionist is soo warm and inviting, they also make you feel very comfortable and confident during these crazy times to come to the dentist!
