I’ve been seeing Dr. Coates for 23 years. Her expertise in pregnancy and child birth and all things female made her my doctor and friend for life.

I’m a true fan, for over 2 decades, now. Dr. Coates is simply a gem; down to earth, encouraging and above all, excellent communicator and a knowledgeable provider.

Dr. Coates is great! I waited years to be able to see her and it was worth the wait. I’ve now been seeing her for at least 3 years and she is very responsive to health concerns and requests and thorough. During my initial visit, she gave a possible diagnosis for undiagnosed symptoms Id been having for at least 10 years. The staff is nice and patient and I never have to wait long for email responses. I will say that sometimes my reg appts are a bit rushed but I believe if I bring something to her attention, she would definitely listen vs dismiss me.

I was referred by my primary doctor to Dr. Coates in 2020, and I saw her in 2021 for the first time. The first visit was okay, although I felt pretty rushed. The second visit this past year was a nightmare! I went in to discuss one thing but never was able to because she would not listen to me. She was aggressive in her delivery and demanding. She demanded that I do a biopsy that I did not need. I told both Dr. Coates and her nurse that I just had a physical the month prior and she continued on her own agenda. I told her that my records were forwarded to her office, and told me that they were not there, and ignored my request to obtain them. I repeatedly said that I was uncomfortable with this procedure for several reasons, and she just ignored me. Her nurse was very unsympathetic, and as I screamed in agony, the nurse stood on the other side of the room. I was offered pain meds after the procedure and the nurse never returned. I felt completely vulnerable and violated.

I have been searching and bouncing around for years now trying to find GYN home again after my very first GYN provider for over 15 years retired. I had some bad experiences during that time. I had surgery that left me bleeding for almost 2 months after and was told this should not be happening. I was giving a referrals twice a month to get lab work done but nothing else. Eventually it stopped but I was so tied everyday from loosing so much blood. Anyway finally got a good one Dr. Coats. She is very personable. I didn't have a long wait when I arrived. I love how she was ready to problem solve with me on the very first visits. The office staff is also very polite and helpful. Up to date with everything. My prescription and mammogram referral were sent off to where they needed to go. So I didn't have to carry any referrals out of the office. Prescription was ready for pick up on my way home. Everything was electronically sent. The most important part is Dr. Coats is wonderful, caring and down to earth. My first visits I was so comfortable with the staff and her.

I have been with Dr. Coates for over 15 years. She is so amazing that when my daughter transitioned from Pediatrician to GYN I would have no one other than Dr. Coates be her doctor. I imagine when my granddaughter is ready I will introduce her to CWC.

my initial meeting with Dr. Coates she was easy to talk to, and thorough. When asking her questions she did not rush me.

I've been going to Dr. Coates for almost 15 years now. I love her. She is personable, thorough, knowledgeable and always pleasant. She is I have this one issue. Her front desk staff never provides a reminder card for your annual pap. I've spoken to Dr. Coates on several occasions she seems to think that they make reminder calls. The patient should not have to contact her office to know when its time for her annual exam.

My experience was terrible with this doctor... I came in with extreme pain, due to fibroids, had a long wait, came back & taken to her office, my information was in the system twice due to no one checking to see if I was already in their system.. Once in an exam room, tried sonogram (cath) which didn't work, but my insurance was charged for it; I was then examined, with no care for my pain or release, just continual poking & jabbing. After all of that, no education on next step, just given pamphlet, prescription (that didn't work), & pushed out the door.
